Sony has disclosed that the costs for PlayStation Plus subscriptions will increase in fifteen Latin American nations, as stated on the region’s official PlayStation blog. The prices for the three available subscription tiers are set to rise accordingly.
These price increases are impacting the following nations: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

Starting this month, PlayStation Plus Essentials will be available for $7.99 a month, while PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Deluxe will each cost $11.99 and $13.99 respectively. If you prefer the three-month plan, it’ll now set you back $20.99 for Essential, $33.99 for Extra, and $39.99 for Deluxe. For a full year of service, you can subscribe to Essential for $64.99, Extra for $107.99, or Deluxe for $124.99.
Similar to numerous businesses globally, we’re being impacted by global market fluctuations. Therefore, we’ll be modifying the prices of our PlayStation Plus service in local regions. This price change will help us maintain the delivery of premium games and additional perks as part of your PlayStation Plus membership.
Starting from June 24th, only existing subscribers will experience these reduced prices. Any modifications to your membership plan from April 16th onward, such as upgrades, downgrades, or extending your subscription, will be subject to the new pricing structure.
The increase in price was unveiled together with the new lineup of games set to arrive on PlayStation Plus. Leading the subscription service starting April 15 and beyond are “Hogwarts Legacy” and “PlateUp”. Additionally, “EA Sports PGA Tour” and “Blue Prince” are included in the current roster of PlayStation Plus games for both Extra and Premium members.
