Next week, eight terrific indie games for both PS5 and PS4 will no longer be accessible on the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium service tiers. This means that once they expire, you won’t be able to play them even if you’ve already redeemed or downloaded them. The reason behind this is to make room for new games scheduled to debut in April 2025 on the membership. These fresh titles will become available on the same day as their introduction.
Here are the PS5 and PS4 games that will no longer be available on PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium starting at 10am BST on Tuesday, April 15th:
1. LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4)
2. Mafia Definitive Edition (PS4)
3. Overcooked! All You Can Eat (PS5)
4. Rez Infinite (PSVR)
5. Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep – A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure (PS VR)
6. Wipeout Omega Collection (PS4)
7. Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy! (PS4)
8. Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4)
- Animal Well (PS5)
- Tales of Kenzera: ZAU (PS5)
- Nour: Play with Your Food (PS5, PS4)
- Deliver Us Mars (PS5, PS4)
- Miasma Chronicles (PS5)
- Stray Blade (PS5)
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS5, PS4)
- Slay the Spire (PS4)
If you’re currently enjoying any of these games on your PlayStation 5 or have them installed, you’ll find yourself unable to access the PS5 icon on your home screen and will need to purchase a copy to carry on playing. You can find our comprehensive list of all the PS Plus Games listed below:
Since these PS5 and PS4 games are relatively short in duration, there’s still ample opportunity for you to download and play a few of them, perhaps even completing one or two before Tuesday. Given your time constraints, we suggest focusing on Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Astro’s Playroom as they offer the most engaging experiences.
Here are our review write-ups of those two games:
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits PS5 review
Although drawing inspiration from numerous contemporary successes, Kena: Bridge of Spirits manages to carve out its unique identity. The stunning graphics and music create a lasting impact, while the gameplay offers an engaging experience. If its narrative surpassed the norm and a few minor flaws were addressed, it would be a true standout. As it currently stands, this is a robust action platformer teeming with character, marking a promising debut for Ember Lab.
- Animal Well PS5 review
Animal Well is an exceptionally engaging game for those prepared to immerse themselves in it fully. The enigmas it conceals transcend simple treasure hunting, offering a captivating and intricate universe to explore. If you possess persistence and inquisitiveness, delving into its secrets is definitely rewarding.
