The long-awaited free DLC for Katana ZERO by Askiisoft, initially announced in 2019 following the sale of over 100,000 base game units, didn’t provide a specific release date but unveiled an enticing new teaser. This sneak peek showcases various scenes of gory chaos. Take a look at it below.
Additionally, Askiisoft announced in the trailer notes that the DLC is almost ready for release. The narrative of Zero will progress as players uncover details about his mysterious past in fresh levels. Excitingly, fans can anticipate encountering new characters, experiencing innovative gameplay dynamics, and wielding new weapons like the Plasma Blaster.
Despite originally being marketed as only half the size of the main game, it appears that the DLC has expanded significantly over the past few years. Regardless of its release date, it seems set to offer a substantial gaming experience for fans.
As an enthusiastic gamer, I’m thrilled to share that I can now enjoy Katana ZERO on my Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC! Previously, it was also released for iOS and Android devices. Interestingly, this game rapidly gained momentum, becoming the second quickest title to sell out for publisher Devolver Digital, with a staggering 500,000 units sold within just under a year.
