Countdown to the grand debut of RoboForce is down to just one day, yet there’s no need to wait that long! Catch a sneak peek of the series right now with our exclusive first-look clip! The Nacelle Company has collaborated with Seven Bucks Productions owned by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Tubi, rebooting the 1980s series for a new audience. All your beloved characters will return, including the formidable Wrecker who takes center stage in our latest clip, available in the video above. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the premiere on Tubi, happening April 12th!
In the video, it’s Wrecker who leaps into action to make a crucial save. Even though his opponents are swifter and more nimble than him, Wrecker isn’t without surprises. He outsmarts the first foe despite losing an arm, but a powerful uppercut knocks them unconscious for a while. Sadly, Wrecker finds himself in a tight spot when the escape vehicle falls into enemy hands, trapping them.
In the video above, you’ll witness Wrecker displaying his impressive strength and power. Yet, there’s a gentle side to this towering figure too, as hinted at the prospect of seeing his extensive flower collection in upcoming episodes. For now, it’s all work-focused, but keep an eye on future installments for more insight into Wrecker’s softer side. Here’s a brief overview of the series below.
By the year 2089, Detroit’s RoboForce found themselves outdated by the superior UA 101 robots, relegated to the fringes of society with no prospects for heroism. However, their fate took an unexpected turn when a cryptic computer virus infiltrated the 101 units, causing chaos and putting all of civilization at risk. With nobody else able to halt their rampage, it fell upon RoboForce to save the day.
RoboForce belongs to the shared universe known as The NacelleVerse, which is a collective universe created by The Nacelle Company from the revived worlds of classic animation and toy brands. The NacelleVerse encompasses various series such as Biker Mice From Mars, Sectaurs, The Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, The Great Garloo, Power Lords, and Big Loo – all set in a universe that is brought together to tell fresh stories.
Enthusiasts of the RoboForce series can expect to pre-order the second batch of action figures from Nacelle quite soon. This new collection, known as Wave 2, features Detonator, Hun-Dred, Sentinel, and CRMGN. These figures will offer approximately 16 points of articulation, along with distinctive accessories and weapons that set them apart.
For instance, a Detonator model boasts back missiles and multiple laser cannons, whereas Hun-Dred showcases chest missiles, a sniper rifle hand that lasers, a war hammer hand, and additional laser cannons. The Sentinel figure sports a retractable head laser cannon, an energy shield, plasma sword, and the CRMGN model features an extending grip claw hand and movable eyebrows. You can preview all these new action figures once they are launched right here.
