The continuous flow of multi-platform releases from Microsoft is ongoing. Soon, the game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available on PS5. Following it later in the month will be Forza Horizon 5. Additionally, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition is set to launch for Sony’s console on May 6th, as promised within its Spring release window, according to Microsoft’s latest announcement.
The upcoming game is now open for pre-orders and boasts features like 4K resolution, an enhanced soundtrack, and three expansions: “Lords of the West,” “Dynasties of India,” and “Dawn of the Dukes.” Furthermore, Microsoft has announced another expansion titled “The Three Kingdoms” that will coincide with the PS5 release and be accessible across all platforms. As its name suggests, this expansion is inspired by the Chinese classic “Romance of the Three Kingdoms.” It includes five new civilizations, three fresh campaigns (comprising 15 missions in total), and additional content.
You can find a Special Edition of “Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition” on PS5 as well. This special version not only offers the main game along with all its extensions like “The Three Kingdoms”, but also gives you an early access period of five days, and provides you with 24 unique in-game animated profile icons as a bonus.
