Becky G Shares Game-Changing Tips for Tyla’s Coachella Debut!

Becky G knows a thing or two about performing in the desert.

Prior to the “Sin Pijama” artist gracing the stage during Tyla’s inaugural performance at the 2025 Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California on April 11, she took time to impart all her secrets for maintaining her voice at its best.

Becky shared with Erin Lim Rhodes from The Rundown at the 2025 Revolve Festival, which coincided with Coachella’s first weekend, “I said something like, ‘What can I help you with? I’m here for you,'” she explained. “The desert is tough; it’s dry, dusty… Take a Claritin D in the morning, even if you don’t have allergies. Trust me, that’s a real lifesaver.

Besides essentials such as throat lozenges and my own portable humidifier, I, a 28-year-old who had the privilege of performing at Coachella in 2023 and 2025, also disclosed my pre-show routine for adding an extra kick.

Indeed, I won’t miss out on a small sip of tequila,” she noted. “Just enough to get me ready for the stage, and then I’m all set.

Following her collaboration with “Water” singer Rebecca Marie Gomez, she is also planning to perform alongside a unique guest of her own.

She shared that the show tonight will be exceptionally unique as she gets to perform alongside Gustavo Dudamel, a truly remarkable individual and an extraordinary talent.

Becky added, “I think it’s gonna be really special.”

Even though Becky recently dropped her album titled “Encuentros” only half a year back, she’s hinted at more fresh tunes in the pipeline as well.

She confessed, “Following our last album, I shared with my team that I needed a break, and that pause was simply during the holiday season. However, upon resuming work in the studio, we’ve been creating an abundance of fresh music inspired by this renewed self-awareness I developed while producing my regional Mexican albums. Returning to my roots has given me the opportunity to delve deeper into my artistic expression.

Speaking as a die-hard fan, I can’t help but get excited when hearing Becky’s recent hint about her upcoming work. She playfully emphasized, “When I say ‘very, very soon,’ take it from me, it’s going to be incredibly swift!
