Emma Roberts is ready to see her family take over The Real Housewives.
The actress who appeared in “American Horror Story” has revealed that she’s talked about appearing on a Bravo reality show with one of her relatives, but not her award-winning cousin Julia Roberts; instead, she’s been encouraging her mother, Kelly Cunningham, to take part.
She shared with Erin Lim Rhodes from The Rundown during the 2025 Revolve Festival (held over the first weekend of Coachella) that she wishes her mom could be on Housewives. However, her mom feels she lacks the required personality for it.
But Emma, whose dad is Eric Roberts, wouldn’t take no for an answer.
She remarked, ‘That’s precisely what gives you the right fit for it,'” she said at the event, which showcased acts from Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Tyga, among others. “She speaks her mind honestly.
In a recent statement, the 34-year-old mentioned that Kelly had previously been casually offered a spot within the franchise, yet emphasized, “Getting her on board is quite difficult.
Regarding Emma, who co-parents 4-year-old Rhodes Robert Hedlund with her former partner Garrett Hedlund, she too had reservations about joining the competition.
The actress, who revealed her engagement to actor Cody John in July, explained that she is currently unmarried. “Although I am moving towards that state,” she added, “I’m not there yet. I guess I could say I’m not a housewife at this point in time. Perhaps when I grow a bit more, I will be.
Currently, Emma isn’t quite prepared for real-life television crews documenting her daily affairs; however, she’s utterly captivated by the screen-played tension and action.
She emphasized, “I require 23 episodes per season to be produced quicker due to lack. I need more, particularly those set in Beverly Hills and Salt Lake City. I simply can’t help it; I’m hooked.

Bravo’s unsuccessful endeavor to showcase our country’s capital introduced four women who are so nondescript that it’s understandable if you can’t recall them—their names being Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner. Later, we’ll delve into the story of one woman who was so eager for recognition that she crashed a party at the White House.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
In January 2022, Utah’s second season Housewife, Jennie, was let go due to a series of offensive and racially insensitive comments on her old Facebook posts that were brought back to light. After the incident, she expressed her apologies but the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
As a devoted follower, I can attest that the doctor from Orange County was seldom the center of any dramatic events in season 16. Her brief marital strife with her perpetually shirtless husband, Ryne (or perhaps Ryan), failed to capture my full attention. However, one incident I’ll never forget is Dr. Jen’s exuberant intoxication during the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward—yet undeniably entertaining—dinner party, where she indulged rather generously in wine.
The initial period for the nurse anesthetist, unfortunately, may be remembered as the disastrous “Esophagus-incident,” a term we fervently hope will never resurface.
Katie often shared stories about her charitable endeavors, yet didn’t appear to do much else on the show. She was more like a one-time appearance, offering little when it came to being a friend. Cutting the cast trip short? Definitely not a good move for a ‘Housewife’.
During her stint as a full-time Housewife, Charrisse’s marital issues were quite prominent and unforgettable, along with her champagne room, which also made a lasting impression.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In the twelfth season, it was refreshing to observe some diversity among the predominantly white O.C., but Peggy unfortunately became a source of frustration. Her chosen conflicts were peculiar, frequently revolving around misunderstandings due to unfamiliarity with words, and her action of spending an entire day confined in her room during the Iceland trip indicated that she might not be well-suited for the lifestyle portrayed on The Real Housewives.
Instead of forming a connection with Nigerian costar Wendy Osefo during season eight, Nneka’s storyline for her first season revolved around an alleged accusation that Wendy’s mother was a witch (believe it or not). It would have been wonderful if we could have witnessed the two women bonding over their shared culture instead of arguing without resolution.
In season 16, Noella whirled around like a whirlwind of frenetic enthusiasm. Although her private hardships were somewhat intriguing (her husband James departed the country and requested a divorce just before filming began), it was her ongoing drama with Heather Dubrow that prevented her from sinking too low in the rankings. With additional time and another season, we might grow fonder of Mrs. Bergener.
In her debut season, she was known as a peacemaker, but by her final season, she shifted to constant complaints about a discarded cake and false accusations of anti-Semitism. It’s hard to recall a more rapid descent from grace on the “Real Housewives” series than this one.
Everything that Amber and her spouse, Jim, undertook appeared incredibly desperate. It’s also worth noting that Jim found himself embroiled in more of the turmoil compared to Amber. Not a very flattering image.
What stands out most about Karen is her profession as a dentist, and it appeared as if none of her colleagues held her in high regard. Moving on!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Among the more recent temporary cast members on Real Housewives of New York, Jules didn’t stay long enough to be ranked higher due to her short stint. Yet, she certainly provided a good amount of dramatic moments.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a versatile, accomplished Arab woman who skillfully merged contemporary living with age-old cultural customs. For the most part, she steered clear of the first season’s turbulence and at times found herself outshone by her fellow cast members’ more prominent, boisterous personas.
Taleen proved to be a valuable contributor during the second season of RHODubai, however, with just one season under our belt, it’s challenging to make a definitive assessment of her performance.
In seasons 11 and 12, the long-time contestant on “America’s Next Top Model” chose a peach, yet failed to create a significant impact in the realm of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” other than her prolonged pregnancy. However, she did earn applause for her memorable read of Marlo Hampton during their time in Tokyo.
As a devoted fan, I’ve learned that it often takes observing multiple seasons to truly rank a newcomer. However, Katie certainly made an impact during the 18th season of RHOC. Right from the start, she wasn’t afraid to challenge veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow, which takes a bold woman indeed, calling into question the grandeur of ‘Ms. Fancypants’.
Sara’s optimistic and educated perspective on life was generally agreeable, yet lacked the usual dramatic flair (except for that instance when she gave Caroline Brooks some unsolicited parenting advice that wasn’t well-received). However, this tech entrepreneur broke down barriers about what it signifies to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and for that, we commend her.
In their debut on Season 13 of RHONJ, the newcomers seemed to embody the stereotypical New Jersey Housewife and got entangled in a seemingly trivial, prolonged argument that Andy Cohen labeled as unnecessary at the reunion. Regrettably, these former friends didn’t contribute much depth during Season 14.
In the first season, Larsa didn’t leave a strong impact and departed from the show. When the revival of RHOM occurred for season four in 2021, her narrative centered around her past friendship with Kim Kardashian, as well as her involvement with selling foot photos on OnlyFans. (Note: This is a suggestion and the content within parentheses may not be suitable for all audiences.)
After appearing as a Bravolebrity for one season, she participated in the twelfth season of ‘Next Food Network Star’, which was held in 2016. However, she wasn’t successful in that competition either.
Sadly, she seemed to serve merely as an object of verbal abuse from Brandi Glanville. Additionally, her slogan, glorifying the idea that one can never be too thin, was quite distasteful.
