Grace Star Zoe Tapper’s Shocking New Role: Meet Georgia Wright

Viewers who enjoy the ITV crime show “Grace” will have an opportunity to witness Zoë Tapper, who plays Cleo Morey, take on a completely distinct character in her upcoming drama series “I, Jack Wright.” This program is set to debut on U&Alibi soon.

The series titled “I, Jack Wright” originates from the mind of Chris Lang, its creator, and centers around the repercussions that ensue following a tense reading of a will, when the affluent head of the Wright clan passes away.

She mentioned that she found the scripts particularly alluring when she first encountered them since she adores being in Grace, a long-standing series, and the character seems nearly the opposite of Cleo Morey.

Tapper explained, “I portray Georgia Wright, who is the complete opposite of Cleo in many ways. She’s unpredictable and ruthless, quite demanding, and she places a great emphasis on her appearance, making her irresistibly captivating.

From the moment I read her words on the page, I instantly fell for her charm. Some of her witty remarks are pure genius!

Significantly, I am Jack Wright, and there are multiple actors from my show who have connections with Grace. The leading actor of the series, John Simm, portrays my character, Gray Wright.

Apart from the main actor, the team also features Nikki Amuka-Bird, Gemma Jones, Trevor Eve, Daniel Rigby, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Rakhee Thakrar, Harry Lloyd, Liz Kingsman, James Fleet, Sabrina Bartlett, and Percelle Ascott.

As a dedicated movie reviewer, I’m diving right into the heart-wrenching fifth season of “Grace” now airing on ITV. This gripping tale finds our protagonists, Roy and Cleo, grappling with the profound sorrow of losing their baby. Yet, life unexpectedly throws them another curveball – the appearance of Roy’s long-lost son, Bruno, a surprise he never saw coming. The emotional rollercoaster continues!

The program has been officially extended for a sixth season, with Simm, Tapper, and the entire cast scheduled to begin shooting shortly.
