Critics have weighed in on the first episode of Doctor Who’s fifteenth season, and it appears that the storyline about The Robot Revolution transported viewers across galaxies.
In the second season starring Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor, a fresh character named Belinda Chandra (portrayed by Varada Sethu) was presented to audiences. Despite her yearning to return home, she’s compelled to take a roundabout journey instead due to the TARDIS failing to touch down at her intended destination.
On April 12th, Season 15 made its comeback on BBC One, drawing in two million viewers initially, according to TV Zone. The comprehensive ratings, incorporating BBC iPlayer, devices, and catch-up services, are set to be disclosed at a future time.
On the day in question, the show ranked as the fourth most-viewed program overall, while on BBC One, it was the second most-popular, trailing only Gladiators with approximately 2.9 million viewers.

The new episode addressed numerous mysteries, including that of Mrs Flood.
In a surprising twist, the enigmatic figure portrayed by Anita Dobson emerged as Belinda’s apparently harmless neighbor. This character, unbeknownst to Belinda, had seen the kidnapping of her new acquaintance at the hands of a group of robots.
Though seemingly puzzled by the events that transpired, her true feelings surfaced when she replied: “Be careful, Belinda. Goodbye!
Before making herself scarce, Flood broke the fourth wall once again and said: “You ain’t seen me!”
Next week, The Doctor and Belinda are set to venture into Lux as they continue to seek answers to their many unresolved questions.
The television show “Doctor Who” resumes its latest installment next Saturday, April 19th at 7:15pm, on BBC One in the United Kingdom. Starting from 8am every Saturday, new episodes can be accessed on BBC iPlayer within the country. For viewers outside of the UK, the series will be available on Disney+.
