The resort in question is renowned for its distinctive theming and hospitality reminiscent of Disney magic, qualities we strive to uphold and preserve even during the meticulous renovation process of the iconic Grand Floridian lobby.

Across from the bar, you’ll still find the classic cage-style elevator that has long been a fan favorite.

The lobby, stairs, and reception area will be updated with a blend of botanical details and warm hues to establish a spacious, garden-esque ambiance.

Initially, I felt a tinge of sadness upon learning that a bar will be added to the new Grand Floridian lobby as it’s where I usually unwind during piano performances, cherishing the ambiance. However, I now find myself hopeful that this change might bring more life and energy to the space when the pianist isn’t playing, enhancing the overall experience. Plus, the renovation itself looks stunning!

At the Grand Floridian, there’s no necessity for a lobby bar. Instead, you can easily hop on an elevator and head upstairs to grab a drink, saving some cash in the process. Disney, consider adding clear signage for those seeking refreshments, and guests will manage just fine finding their way!
