Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA and Ys IX: Monstrum Nox for PS5 launch July 31 in Japan

On July 31, Falcom is set to launch the PlayStation 5 versions of “Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA” and “Ys IX: Monstrum Nox” in Japan. The developer made this announcement. You can purchase each game either physically for 4,800 yen or digitally for 4,400 yen.

On November 15, 2022, the PlayStation 5 version of “Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA” was initially launched in North America by NIS America. A few days later, on November 18, 2022, it also made its debut in Europe. Subsequently, “Ys IX: Monstrum Nox” followed suit, released in North America on May 9, 2023, and in Europe on May 12, 2023.

The news about the launch of the PlayStation 5 edition in Japan additionally discloses that global sales for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA have exceeded 700,000 copies on various platforms.
