In the most recent episode of EastEnders, Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) was visited by someone who delivered a major surprise or revelation.
At the start of the new week, Sonia found herself displeased when a crowd of true crime enthusiasts, spearheaded by cunning Mo Harris (Laila Morse) and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), appeared on her doorstep.
Sonia firmly refused to pardon her sister, Patsy Palmer (Bianca Jackson), when she became involved with a genuine crime podcast discussing the case of murderer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).
In response to Sonia stating that B was no longer her sister, daughter Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) implored Sonia for a more compassionate outlook.
While Bianca was at Kat Slater’s (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie) apartment, Kat managed to persuade Bianca to go back home and reconcile with Sonia.
Bianca got a frosty reception, as Sonia ordered her out of her life once more.
However, as Kim shoved a microphone towards Bianca to discuss her past captivity by Reiss, Bianca instead experienced a panic attack. Luckily, nearby Sonia intervened and offered help.
After a sincere conversation, they put their differences aside and agreed to go out for drinks at Harry’s Barn with Bex.
However, as a spectator from the crowd of fans persisted in observing them all day long, Bianca found herself pursuing him, ultimately discovering that they were already acquainted.
Viewers may remember that the character was named Terry Cant, who is Sonia’s father, and let me clarify that this is different from Tom ‘Rocky’ Cotton, the one who initially assumed the identity of Terry!
Bianca expressed disappointment upon encountering the genuine Terry, as her mother, Carol Jackson (played by Lindsey Coulson), had informed her about his nature as a partner.
Initially, she asked Terry to depart, but later, he seemed uncertain about his next steps, eventually reaching out to Sonia by knocking on her door and identifying himself as her father.
How will Sonia react to this unexpected announcement?
