Hey there! Any news on the rumored Oblivion remake, by chance? With the leaked version taking ages to surface, one amusing enthusiast has crafted an unauthorized Elder Scrolls Oblivion demake. In this game, players can finally fulfill their dreams – slaying swarms of Adoring Fan replicas using a massive sword!
Murder the Adoring Fan in Oblivion Demake
Under the craftsmanship of modder Sloth_Johnson, the Oblivion Demake emerged as a product of the Easy FPS Editor, a versatile tool commonly used to design “Boomer Shooter” games, similar in style to iconic 90s titles like DOOM, Heretic, and others.
On Reddit, there’s a funny remake that puts players into a dungeon with old-school Elder Scrolls: Oblivion graphics. When they step into a room, a horde of Cheering Fans, which happens to be my own worst fear, rushes towards them.
Just as anticipated, the unusually fair-haired Wood Elf lets out a bloodcurdling scream at full volume. Yet, what’s truly unsettling is the overwhelming number of these screams – so much so that it could potentially surpass any known horror game in terms of sheer terror.
In a fervent chant, I, a devoted admirer, echo their plea: “By Azura, by Azura, by Azura!” These relentless fanatics cry out just before meeting their demise at the edge of a swift and convenient blade.

Sadly, it appears that the individual behind the Elder Scrolls Oblivion Demake won’t be sharing their enjoyable project. In conversations on the subreddit, they expressed regret by saying, “I’m afraid I can’t make this available to you all, due to Bethesda assets and other factors.
Despite persistent rumors over several months about a modern remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion using Unreal Engine, there’s no sign of the anticipated Bethesda game as yet. Initially hinted at in a list of Bethesda projects during Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, it’s possible that this remake was under development, but then perhaps it didn’t come to fruition?
Time itself will reveal whether the rumored Oblivion remake is genuine or not, as it’s always wise to approach leaked games with a good deal of skepticism before they are officially confirmed.
