In this revised version, the characters and conversations stay consistent with the original, but instead of generic zombies, you’ll encounter specific ones. Moreover, the “Shadows of Despair” adversaries have been tweaked in terms of their parameters and behavior, making them significantly tougher to handle.

As I dive into Nightmare Mode, I find myself gathering diverse loot that unlocks Juliet’s hidden talents. Gathering these treasures empowers Juliet to reach her full potential as a legendary zombie slayer, enabling me to engage in lightning-fast, high-flying combat encounters like never before.

In Nightmare difficulty level, players have the chance to obtain these eight items called Awakening Items that boost Juliet’s skills:

When playing in Nightmare Mode, you can collect these eight special items known as Awakening Items which amplify Juliet’s abilities.
In the challenging Nightmare Mode, players can gather the following eight Awakening Items to upgrade Juliet’s skills and abilities.
In the tough Nightmare Mode, players are given the opportunity to amass these eight items called Awakening Items that help strengthen Juliet’s skills.

  • High-Power Dumbbells – Increases attack power.
  • Speed Armband – Increases attack speed.
  • Winged Sneakers – Increases movement speed.
  • Power Engine – Increases chainsaw movement speed.
  • Smart Chip – Speeds up Sparkle Hunting effects.
  • Chain Motor – Speeds up slicing QTEs.
  • High-Speed Loader – Increases blaster fire rate.
  • Special Backpack – Increases max ammo capacity.

In Nightmare Mode’s launch, you’ll have access to High-Power Dumbbells and Speed Armband right away. Other items within the mode can be bought from the in-game shop.

Furthermore, when players progress up to Stage 6, they will unlock the prestigious zombie hunter ability titled “Aura of Legend.” This skill enhances Juliet’s chainsaw by increasing its size and extending the reach of her attacks.
