Disney’s New Cruise Ship Unveils Doctor Strange and Incredibles-Themed Menu Items

Audience members, take a peek… Here’s your initial glimpse into The Sanctum, an innovative lounge designed by Disney Cruise Line, modeled after the mighty sorcerers and enigmatic relics from Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange.

Modeled after Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, this location showcases magical artifacts meant to empower sorcerers in their world-protection duties. Visitors will uncover intriguing architectural elements reminiscent of the shapes and symbols used in the Rune Shields of the sorcerers, as well as recognizable items such as the Cloak of Levitation and ancient spell books from Kamar-Taj’s library.

The central entertainment venue aboard the ship will offer a diverse range of activities during the trip, catering to guests of all ages with an enchanting selection of non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, alcohol, and coffees. Guests will be captivated by the mystical craft of mixology as they witness mesmerizing tableside drink presentations and unique menu items that appear as if conjured from different dimensions.

Super heroes need style … and sweet treats! We’re headed to the brand-new Edna Á La Mode Sweets.

The unique workspace of Edna Mode, the well-known fashion designer from “The Incredibles” series by Pixar Animation Studios, is going to be changed into a special candy shop on the Disney Destiny cruise ship. This transformation is inspired by the “Auntie Edna” short film. In this new setup, her advanced sewing machines will now be used to make sweets instead of outfits, providing amusement for Jack-Jack, the adorably unpredictable super baby.

Adopting the distinctive style from the movies, the future-inspired layout combines technological elements with delightful surprises for ardent fans. The interior will be adorned with Edna’s sketches and fashionable artworks, while the storefront displays costume models of the newest outfits for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. Families can snap heroic photos next to a playful sculpture of Jack-Jack and Edna baking cookies, and they might even catch a glimpse of the notorious Rocky the raccoon sneaking out from a trash can in search of some tasty treats.

A truly exceptional array of artisanal gelato, ice cream, sweets, and unique delicacies will be dished out from Edna Mode’s lab, featuring cupcakes modeled after the Parr family’s superheroes, luxurious gourmet popsicles, handmade chocolate slabs, and naturally, an unlimited stock of beloved Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.
