Jennifer Garner is no stranger to an elektrafying HIIT routine.
Indeed, she’s truly committed to it. Sticking faithfully to her fitness regimen, the actress from Elektra has lately offered a peek into her workout schedule. One of her favorite exercises, as she recently revealed, is box jumping.
In the Instagram Story video posted on April 14th, Jennifer is captured performing multiple box jumps at her home gym. Dressed in a white shirt and black leggings, the 52-year-old (who has Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13 with her ex-husband Ben Affleck) started off using a smaller box before moving to a larger one. The brief rests between each jump only served to make this challenging workout routine more awe-inspiring.
In the video, the actor from “13 Going on 30” gave a shout-out to her trainer, Beth Nicely, who later expressed admiration for Jennifer’s flawless jumps on her personal Instagram stories, saying, “Absolutely, Jen! This is extremely challenging.
On multiple occasions, Beth, who’s been collaborating with Jennifer for quite some time, has praised the actress’s fitness regimen. In a TopMob News interview conducted in September 2023, the choreographer acknowledged that during her training to resume her role as Elektra in the upcoming 2024 film “Deadpool 3”, Jennifer indeed proved herself as a genuine and dedicated fitness enthusiast.
20 years ago, she was tackling challenges that seem tame compared to what she’s handling now, and I find myself in awe! It’s an absolute thrill to guide her through this phase of her life, witnessing a 51-year-old who embodies the epitome of strength and badassery. Her resilience and growth are truly inspiring, not just for me as her trainer, but as a woman too.
Besides Jennifer’s suggested workouts which include “arm movements using two-pound wrist weights, dance cardio,” and certainly, “box-jumping,” Beth has also been quite proficient with this exercise, as she frequently shares videos demonstrating her mastery of the jumps – even incorporating squats and burpees to keep it interesting. The mother of three is not a novice when it comes to box-jumping.
But as with any workout, Beth explained the actor had to get comfortable with box jumps at first.
From a humble 18-inch platform, I found myself standing, yet my heart raced as if I’d just encountered something extraordinary! The trainer’s words echoed, ‘Whoa, okay, this is novel!’ Now, I’ve leapt to a towering 36-inch obstacle. To us, it’s more than just a set of boxes – it’s an adult playground, a place where we push boundaries with box jumps, agility challenges, and coordination exercises, all while balancing heavy weights upon these towers.

In the interview with Today.com on November 22nd, she stated that inclining yourself helps both your muscles and circulation. She also mentioned that walking backwards is particularly beneficial for your glutes and legs, as it essentially exercises all parts of the body.
2023 proved to be a pivotal year for Becky, and she shared insights on the significant impact fitness had on her life. “I’ve come to realize that in the end, my well-being is primarily enhanced by my own efforts towards health,” she explained to TopMob News. “Over time, if you commit to it, this habit becomes a bigger part of your existence than it ever was without it. That’s the perspective I choose to adopt.
When it comes to my preferred exercises at home, stretching, or taking a walk outside, I aim to maintain regularity in my routine.
The Grammy-winning artist discussed how relocating to New York City ignited her health and fitness transformation. As she shared with People magazine in an interview published on January 3, “City walking is quite the exercise,” Kelly stated. “I’m also a fan of infrared saunas at the moment. And I recently added a cold plunge after being persuaded by everyone around me.
Julianne shared with TopMob News that she consistently sets aside time for exercise when her schedule is full.
The participant on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ expressed that they are aware they can take their dog for walks around hills. This is important since they also need to give their pet some exercise. In addition, any form of physical activity, be it 10 or 5 minutes, is necessary for them to keep their body active.
When she finds herself with extra time, she mentioned, “Regardless if it’s attending a Kinrgy class, practicing Pilates, or doing yoga, I appreciate being able to blend these activities together. I adore versatility the most because it offers such variety.
Every day, I make sure to get some form of movement, whether it’s a short spell or longer. Occasionally, I’ll step into a room, crank up the tunes, and dance freely. It’s an excellent method for unwinding and boosting my mood.
The record producer opened up about his love for golfing and how it’s helped him slim down.
He mentioned to Us Weekly during a September 20th interview that he performs this task daily, giving him opportunities to either ride in a golf cart or take walks while managing emails, phone calls, and his other affairs. Being surrounded by nature and the sun makes it so much more enjoyable for him; it has a rejuvenating effect.
To be truthful, I’m currently finding the best workout by immersing myself in Virtual Reality (VR) gaming. We just happened to acquire our VR headset as everything was closing down, and it’s been a fantastic escape during quarantine. There are numerous games that get your heart racing and leave you drenched in sweat – it’s incredibly exhilarating. I must admit, I often feel quite sore after each gaming session.
Normally, I go to the gym, but currently, I’m attending Pilates classes online with Britni Lariviere. Additionally, I’m attempting to jump rope daily, aiming for 2,000 jumps per session.
Family bike rides have become a significant part of our daily routine, and I consistently set aside thirty minutes each day to engage in Pilates sessions led by Andrea Rodgers and foam rolling sessions guided by Lauren Roxburgh.
> Engaging in a run while grooving to my tunes. It’s been an excellent escape for me during these past few confined months at home! I truly feel invigorated and energized afterwards.
“My favorite way to break a sweat is mix of sex, PRx Performance, hiking, biking.”
Through my Brooke Burke Body fitness app and live streams on both the app and Instagram since the start of quarantine, I aim to engage my audience, stimulate them with fun and inventive workouts. What I enjoy most is leading total body cardio parties where I turn up the music, encourage participants to find their rhythm, and help burn calories. Cardio workouts increase your heart rate, so if you’re not perspiring, you might not be exerting yourself enough!
I’ve been quite busy with the Sculpt, Cardio Boxing, and Yoga sessions from the obé Fitness App, as well as virtual Pilates classes by Amanda. In case I’m pressed for time, I resort to Lauren Gores’ quick workout routines on her Instagram.
During the lockdown, I practice yoga on my own terms, allowing me to explore various aspects. Frequently, these sessions stretch beyond an hour and a half.
My coach, Amoila Cesar, consistently pushes me to perform at my best by tapping into my unyielding competitive spirit. His intense approach invigorates me, and I find myself thriving under his guidance. During the lockdown, I found a similar challenge in his 6 Weeks of THE WORK available on Beachbody on Demand. Additionally, I relish barre classes with their high-intensity workouts, and daily doses of yoga help maintain my overall wellness.
I’ve been quite fond of grooving at home lately, with tunes playing and moves flowing freely. There’s a bit of structure one moment, a burst of improvisation the next, and occasionally some rhythmic twerking. Not to mention, I also enjoy taking long hikes outdoors!
I’ve been doing P.Volve workouts, both in their studio classes and now at home through streaming, for quite some time now. I aim to exercise at least three to four days a week, even if it’s just for 30 minutes. The focus is on building and elongating muscles, which I absolutely love about it!
