Following the premature release of both pictures and its official label, Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor have formally unveiled “Star Wars Zero Company”. This single-player strategy game with turn-based tactics doesn’t yet have a specific launch date or platform details, but it will be officially showcased at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 on April 19th.
At Bit Reactor, a developer conference, offers a global premiere glimpse of the game’s title, possibly showcasing gameplay elements. As we wait for the full reveal, the initial promotional artwork has been unveiled, spotlighting what appears to be the player’s team. The team consists of a Jedi, a Clone Trooper, and a Mandalorian. Interestingly, there’s a man perched on a ledge, studying a hologram of a Republican Droid Trooper, suggesting he might be their commander.
Maybe the game takes place during the time period between ‘Episode 2: Attack of the Clones’ and ‘Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith’. During this era, the Republican Army and Trade Federation were engaged in war on several fronts. The leaked images suggest a game similar to XCOM, with features such as cover-based shooting, hit chances, and abilities like Overwatch. We won’t have to wait much longer for more information, so keep an eye out for official announcements.
