Brian Austin Green is thanking medical staff in the 91356.
A former cast member from “Beverly Hills, 90210” has spoken up about his progress towards wellness following a medical emergency that necessitated surgery.
A week ago, Brian mentioned in his April 14 Instagram video that he’d been experiencing abdominal discomfort. This led him to visit the emergency room, where they discovered his appendix was not fully ruptured yet, but very close to it.
He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”
Despite experiencing some discomfort after the procedure, the 51-year-old, who has two-year-old son Zion with his fiancée Sharna Burgess, along with Noah (12), Bodhi (11), Journey (8) from his relationship with Megan Fox, and Kassius (21) from his past relationship with Vanessa Marcil, was incredibly thankful for the care provided by the medical team at Providence Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Tarzana, California.
Brian went on to say, ‘They were truly exceptional! They swiftly took me in, immediately prepared me for surgery, and their post-care was outstanding. Let me emphasize this: every individual I encountered there was exceptionally kind, caring, supportive, and helpful. And when I say everyone, I really mean it.’
The performer, who mentioned that he had unsuccessfully attempted to be accepted at multiple other hospitals prior to being admitted to Providence Cedars-Sinai because the emergency room waiting lists were excessively lengthy, later elaborated on why he chose to share his gratitude.
Brian expressed that if you discover fantastic spots filled with wonderful individuals who put in a lot of effort for you, it’s only fair to acknowledge them. And that’s exactly what he’s doing.
Speaking directly to the team, he expressed his gratitude by saying, “I want to thank each one of you at this hospital for all that you’ve done and for taking such good care of me.
In response to his medical story, many users celebrated Brian’s shout out and recovery.
One user noted about the video, ‘That’s because it was intended for someone like you, to receive the utmost care.’
Another added, “So glad to hear that you’re on the road to recovery.”

Back in April 2025, the former star of “Beverly Hills, 90210” shared that he was undergoing recovery following an appendix surgery, which had almost ruptured.
A week ago, Brian mentioned in an Instagram post that he began experiencing abdominal discomfort. This led him to visit the hospital’s emergency room, where it was found that his appendix was about to rupture, but hadn’t quite yet.
He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”
Adam Devine disclosed that the injuries he suffered, following an accident involving a cement truck at age 11, continue to impact him up until now.
In that 2025 episode of the “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” podcast, Devine expressed it as a difficult and troubling experience: “It’s been quite a struggle,” he said. “I’ve had constant spasms throughout my body. At one point, the doctors informed me that I might not survive—in fact, they indicated that my condition was critical within the past year.
He observed that the pain fluctuates, stating, “There’s quite a bit in my body that seems slightly out of alignment or not functioning properly.
As a die-hard Bachelor Nation devotee, let me share a heartfelt update: One of my beloved stars recently revealed his harrowing ordeal. He disclosed that he had to rush to the hospital, crawling on all fours, due to excruciating back pain that worsened during an unforgettable RV adventure with a cherished buddy.
Currently, from the tips of my toes up to my knees, there’s an unusual tingling sensation, which is quite astonishing,” he remarked during his Trading Secrets podcast on March 24. “To provide some context, I’m not trying to come off as pretentious, but around two to four weeks ago, I might have been squatting approximately 295 pounds. At the moment, I can’t manage a single-leg squat; if I try, I lose balance. It’s almost like I had a stroke or something.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”
In a game held in December 2024, an AHL player got hurt when another player’s skate accidentally sliced him open. He required 25 stitches to heal. Later, after his son had made a full recovery, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald expressed his gratitude by saying, “We truly consider ourselves fortunate. I wouldn’t wish such an ordeal on any other parent.
Gina Kirschenheiter from The Real Housewives of Orange County disclosed that her former spouse, Matt Kirschenheiter, experienced a heart attack back in March 2025. Fortunately, he made it through this challenging incident.
In March 2025, during a New York Knicks basketball match, the main actor from 30 Rock had a health emergency, causing him to be carried out of Madison Square Garden on a stretcher.
On the next day, the comedian posted an update on his social media platform, explaining that it was actually food poisoning and he was already recovering.
In February 2025, an actress who starred on “Even Stevens” revealed that she had been accidentally shot in the face while celebrating her husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday by shooting clay pigeons.
She posted on Instagram that there was another group present who accidentally discharged their firearm in a dangerous manner, which unfortunately struck her in the face. Quickly, @thebrendanrooney intervened, attended to her, and transported her to the hospital. In total, she was injured at five different spots, with one wound being just inches away from her right eye.
The former star of “Kim Possible” added, “Regrettably, a piece became stuck near my eye, making surgical removal too hazardous for now. However, my vision is currently fine, and doctors are keeping a close watch on me.
The actress expressed her heartfelt gratitude for being alive. She stated, “My daughters, husband, family, and friends mean the world to me.” She continued by describing a moment where she felt her life was fleeting, emphasizing that we should cherish every opportunity to embrace those around us. She underscored that life can unexpectedly transform in a heartbeat.
Despite the internet’s notorious unkindness, Amy Schumer is grateful it provided her with valuable insights in this particular situation. She reminisced on an episode of Call Her Daddy in January 2025, saying, “The internet gave me a hard time after numerous interviews, but I calmed everyone down and said, ‘Take it easy.'” However, medical professionals began commenting and suggested she might have Cushing syndrome due to her unusual appearance. Amy humorously remarked, “I’m being trolled by doctors?”
Upon learning that the doctors suspected Cushing syndrome from elevated cortisol levels or steroid injections, Amy thought, “Hold on, I’ve been receiving steroid injections for my scars.” She had undergone a breast reduction and C-section, among other procedures, and these injections may have caused the condition.
Amy explained, “I had been getting these steroid injections for my scars, which led to Cushing syndrome – a condition I wouldn’t have known about if the internet hadn’t piled on so heavily.” Today, Amy is relieved to know she’s in good health. As she stated in her February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Discovering that I have a type of Cushing syndrome that will naturally resolve itself and I’m healthy was the best possible news.
Hailey Bieber faced the most terrifying incident of her life during breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber in March 2022, when she suddenly experienced symptoms similar to a stroke. She recalled on YouTube a month later that she struggled to respond when asked if she was alright, and then couldn’t speak properly or move the right side of her face.
Hailey explained that after these symptoms ceased and her speech returned, she went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctors discovered a small blood clot in her brain, which they classified as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further examination at the University of California, Los Angeles revealed a hole in her heart known as patent foramen ovale (PFO).
The model shared that the blood clot had migrated to her heart through the PFO, escaped and traveled to her brain, causing the TIA. Following a successful PFO closure procedure, Hailey reported feeling fantastic.
In the same year when Hailey faced her health predicament, I too encountered one of my own. In June 2022, I, the “Baby” singer, disclosed my diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that temporarily paralyzed certain areas of my face and compelled me to postpone the rest of my Justice World Tour.
As you can see for yourself, I described in an Instagram video that this virus attacked the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves, leading to facial paralysis. At the time, I was unable to blink one eye, couldn’t smile on one side of my face, and my nostril on that side wouldn’t move – a complete paralysis on that half of my face.
To add to this, I informed my followers that it had become progressively harder for me to eat. However, with time, the paralysis subsided.
Hailey shared on a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America that “I’m just grateful that he’s fine.” She later added, “He’s doing really well now and feeling much better.” Clearly, it was a very frightening and seemingly random event, but I am confident that I will make a full recovery.
Jamie Foxx initially chose to keep quiet about his April 2023 hospitalization, but later shared his experience. In Atlanta, he experienced a severe headache and asked for an aspirin. Before he could get it, he passed out and lost consciousness for approximately 20 days.
Initially examined by a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home, Foxx’s concerned sister Deidra Dixon then took him to another hospital where they discovered the cause: a brain bleed resulting in a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day, Foxx awoke May 4 in a wheelchair unable to walk. He subsequently traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“I want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “as I truly felt their power during those difficult times.
Actress Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker in 2019. In the piece, she recounted a harrowing experience where she fell ill at the gym with a severe headache that escalated to a life-threatening subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a type of stroke caused by bleeding around the brain.
The Emmy nominee was rushed to the hospital for an emergency scan, and the diagnosis was alarming: she had suffered an aneurysm, or arterial rupture. The pain from the surgery to seal the aneurysm was described as unbearable. During recovery, she also experienced aphasia, a condition where she found herself muttering nonsensical words.
A week later, the aphasia passed, and Emilia was discharged from the hospital after a month-long stay. However, a follow-up scan in 2013 revealed that the growth had doubled in size, necessitating another surgery. This time, the surgeons needed to access her brain through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now reportedly in good health and has made a full recovery.
As a die-hard fan ecstatically expressing my gratitude, let me share the heartwarming story of Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus. When she bravely faced a “severe stroke” in January 2024, her family sprang into action, rushing to be by her side.
In an interview with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024, Cori shared her experience: “I sent them a text and a picture, saying I just had a stroke. Everyone came to my aid.”
Due to additional health complications, Cori’s hospital stay was longer than anticipated. She bravely stated, “Initially, I thought I could go home after the stroke, but my lupus wasn’t cooperating. My kidneys were failing. It was a whirlwind of challenges.”
Today, Cori is on the road to recovery. With a beaming smile, she declared, “I’m doing great! I just needed to regain some motor skills, but otherwise, I was in good shape.
In the early part of her twenties, Shailene Woodley faced numerous health challenges. Her issues escalated to the point where she started losing her hearing, struggled to walk for extended periods without needing to rest, and had trouble digesting food which caused constant discomfort. She was diagnosed with a complex set of health problems by different doctors, but it wasn’t until she sought help from both conventional and holistic healers that she began to find some relief. This long journey spanned over a decade, during which Shailene also grappled with fear of food due to her physical discomfort, leading to body image issues, confusion about identity, and feelings of insecurity in her own skin. After addressing both her physical and mental health concerns, Shailene is now feeling much better and in good health.
