Embark Studios has scheduled a two-day “Tech Test” for their multiplayer survival shooter game, ARC Raiders, starting from April 30 to May 4. This event will be accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and both Steam and Epic Games Store for PC users. The developer has made registration open on their official website.
For the past six months, we’ve put in a lot of effort to broaden the main gameplay, taking into account suggestions from our community,” stated Aleksander Grondal, executive producer of ARC Raiders, in a press statement. “Now, it’s time for us to observe how these modifications function on a large scale. We’re particularly excited to receive feedback on the progression system, the combat experience, cross-platform compatibility, and overall feel now that the game has grown more extensive and multi-layered.

From April 30th to May 4th, Tech Test 2 offers players on PC and now console platforms (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) an opportunity to delve into the perilous wilderness of the Rust Belt, engage in combat against ARC machines, and search for valuable loot in the game’s vast player-versus-player-versus-environment sandbox.
Beyond making several adjustments and enhancements, Tech Test 2 also unveils a larger variety of ARC adversaries, additional weapons, equipment, and gadgets, more extensive player advancement and crafting options, as well as a sneak peek at the upcoming Battle Pass for ARC Raiders.
In ARC Raiders, there’s an exciting mix of dangerous looting on the surface and tactical survival and crafting below ground. You assume the character of a Raider – a lone gunfighter navigating a decaying world teeming with massive ARC machines, rival raiders, and constant danger lurking around every corner. Whether you play alone or in teams of up to three, each adventure is a test of how much you’re willing to risk for the rewards you might reap.
