Amy Slaton’s New BF Drops Bombshell: ‘Have Another Baby… NOW!’

Amy Slaton admits she may be moving too fast with her new boyfriend. 

In the first episode of season seven, the 37-year-old character, who has been featured alongside her sister Tammy Slaton on the TLC series since 2020, disclosed that her boyfriend, Brian Scott Lovvorn, is considering growing their family and made a significant proposal.

Amy told her sister Amanda, during the first episode, that she had suggested Michael Halterman, her ex and their sons’ father (Gabe, 4 and Glenn, 2), should consider having another child.

Amanda, 44, immediately made her shock apparent in an offside confessional. 

Goodness gracious! I’m not quite certain if she’s using her good sense or not, but she certainly needs a very chilly bath, and so does he,” Amy’s elder sister said.

In the conversation, though, Amanda was a little more delicate with her young sister. 

She advised Amy to move cautiously, “Remember to stay vigilant, as sometimes small actions accumulate over time and can reveal a person’s true character after being together for a couple of months. That’s when their genuine self emerges.

Discussing an upcoming episode this season, it’s revealed that Amy, who was arrested with Brian at a Tennessee zoo in September 2024, admitted that their relationship started off fiery and intense from the very beginning. During the same conversation, Amanda expressed her skepticism towards the couple’s matching tattoos, which Amy explained they got on their second date together.

As an utterly smitten admirer, I can’t help but echo Amy’s sentiments: “Brian and I, our bond is almost unsettling.” We’re racing through life at breakneck speed, yet somehow, it all feels perfectly right. At long last, I’ve found a man who genuinely appreciates me for who I am. In a symbolic gesture of our unwavering connection, we decided to etch a reminder on our skin – a tattoo that serves as a testament to our deep-rooted love.

Regarding if Amy intends to follow her sister’s advice, she stated later in the show, “I won’t be doing that,” and further added, “No.

Of course, Amanda isn’t holding her breath for her sister to come around to her perspective. 

Later on, Amanda clarified that her younger sibling would act as she usually does. However, I intend to advise her and emphasize, “Go at your own pace.
