Lenny Kravitz’s Jaw-Dropping Paris Mansion Will Leave You Speechless

Lenny Kravitz is flying high in luxury.

In a feature on Architectural Digest’s Open Door series, the artist known for “Fly Away” has shared glimpses of his Parisian mansion, which beautifully blends a somber rockstar aesthetic with heartfelt elegance reminiscent of his late mother, Roxie Roker.

Lenny kicked off his April 15 video saying, “This location is known as Hotel de Roxie.” Reflecting on his mom, who passed away from breast cancer at 66 in 1995, he explained she had always dreamed of living in Paris after completing 11 seasons of The Jeffersons. Unfortunately, her wish didn’t come true. However, he is fulfilling their shared dream. He described this residence as a token of appreciation for both of them. His heartfelt tribute to her continued in the Petit Salon, which he aptly named the “Roxie Room.

The spacious, warm-hued room is adorned with multiple photos of his mother, framed in gold, some of which he obtained from the Louvre Museum in Paris. When not showcasing Roxie, a corner of the room is filled with various collectibles like vases and unique artwork, artfully arranged throughout the space.

As stated by Lenny, who is the father of actress Zoë Kravitz, aged 36, and former wife Lisa Bonet, aged 57, these items contribute to adding a sense of “soul” to his surroundings.

When asked about his design style, he simply put it as “soulful sophistication”. He elaborated by saying, “It’s a blend of being elegant and refined, yet deeply rooted in emotion. Design without the emotional depth is just brand labels, but when accumulating pieces, they truly mirror your personal journey and identity.

Without neglecting tributes to his greatest influences, the “American Woman” actor adorns different areas with portraits of Muhammad Ali, his grandfather Albert Roker, and several pairs of James Brown’s leather boots in his library. Though these items are everlasting, Lenny showcased the most captivating area in his Paris home: his snug basement nightclub. Indeed, a real nightclub.

The dimly-illuminated room, hidden like a secret hideout, carries an edgier atmosphere than the rest of the house. Yet, in keeping with his charismatic rockstar persona, he accessorized it with a massive disco ball and undeniably, a DJ station, to enhance the ambiance.
