A much-adored Marine character is finally taking center stage in the latest episode, adding a thrilling twist to the narrative. Who Is Doll in One Piece?
During the initial phase of the Egghead Arc in One Piece last year, a significant portion of the storyline unfolded outside Dr. Vegapunk’s future island lab. Simultaneously, it was disclosed that while Luffy and the Straw Hats were trapped on the island, Koby was being kept prisoner by Blackbeard’s forces on Beehive. As a result, the initial half of the arc predominantly revolved around Garp and the Marines launching an assault on Beehive to rescue Koby. This is where viewers were introduced to more of the Marine personnel for the first time.
Throughout the New World arc, the Marine roster has undergone significant changes, mirroring the transformative events following the Marineford arc. New characters like Doll have been introduced, capturing fan attention with her distinctive design that sets her apart from other Marines introduced concurrently. Notably, the Marines did not launch an attack on Egghead, and Doll swiftly defeats a Pacifista without much resistance.
What’s Next for the Marines in One Piece?
The sudden movement of the doll symbolizes both excitement and danger, as it signals the long-awaited display of the Marine’s combat skills, yet also indicates that the Marines are advancing towards Luffy and his companions. Earlier, a standstill existed, but with Saturn’s command to eliminate Dr. Vegapunk and his island projects (except for essential items), Admiral Kizaru is now leading the offensive as the Marines initiate their assault.
This upcoming storyline in “One Piece” promises to be action-packed and full of turmoil. Luffy, after years, is set to have his second encounter with Kizaru, a battle long anticipated since their previous disastrous clash. Additionally, other characters will engage in significant fights of their own. The situation is bound to escalate further before things start to improve.
