Country Star Thomas Rhett Performs on Broken Ankle, Leaves Show in Wheelchair

Thomas Rhett knows how to smile through the pain.

Prior to his unexpected performance at Forrest Frank’s concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on April 13, the country music artist suffered a fall and subsequently exited the venue in a wheelchair.

“@hiforrest told me to pull up,” Thomas captioned the video, “and I left in a wheelchair.”

It turns out that Kelsea Ballerini, like Thomas, wasn’t immune to the perils of live performances. In fact, she recently took a tumble from a moving stage while performing Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places” at the final stop of her tour’s North American leg in Toronto.

Although the crowd let out a shocked gasp, she sang the words, “I’ll be okay,” continuing to deliver an outstanding performance in her coordinating turquoise boots and bodysuit.

It’s possible that the artist who sings “Dibs” and has been dating Chase Stokes from the series “Outer Banks” since 2023 has experienced some misfortunes during concerts. In fact, there was an incident in June 2023 when she had to momentarily halt her performance after getting hit in the face by something thrown onto the stage.
