Demi Moore’s Shocking Oscar Prediction: Did She See Mikey Madison’s Win Coming?

Demi Moore can see more than ghosts—she can see the future.

61-year-old actress recently reminisced about the insightful moment she experienced at the 2025 Oscars, where she was a strong contender for Best Actress due to her exceptional performance in “The Substance.” Just before receiving the award, it went to Mikey Madison from “Anora” instead.

According to an article in Time dated April 16th, Demi shared that she leaned over and whispered to her manager, “I believe it’s going to Mikey.” She wasn’t sure why she was certain, but she just was.

Although the actress who starred in “G.I. Jane”, along with nominees Fernanda Torres, Cynthia Erivo, and Karla Sofía Gascón, didn’t win the award, she doesn’t consider this a setback. Instead, she views her loss as a sign that her story continues to unfold.

She went on to say, “I was completely focused and at peace. I didn’t experience sorrow or distress. Instead, I placed my faith in what was about to happen, and I continue to have faith in the outcome.

After the ceremony held last month, Demi – mother of daughters Rumer Willis (aged 36), Scout Willis (aged 33), and Tallulah Willis (aged 31) with her former spouse Bruce Willis – marked the conclusion of awards season by enjoying fries with her children and expressing a heartfelt message to her team.

In a post on Instagram on March 3rd, the winner of the Golden Globe expressed deep gratitude as the awards season winds down. They described it as an incredible journey that’s only just beginning. They are thankful for their team, fellow nominees, and everyone who has contributed to making this experience filled with happiness and radiance.

Additionally, Demi extended a recognition towards the Anora star, expressing, “Also, massive congratulations to Mikey Madison! I’m eagerly anticipating your future endeavors.

Besides Demi, other stars also showed their appreciation. Notably, Mikey acknowledged her fellow Best Actress nominees in her Oscar acceptance speech.

At the recent gathering, I felt compelled to acknowledge the thoughtful, intelligent, stunning, awe-inspiring efforts of my esteemed peers who are also nominees. It’s an immense honor for me to be acknowledged among such distinguished individuals. Being in this situation is a long-cherished dream realized.
