Galaxies: 50+ Game Announcements & Updates Coming Soon!

The demise of E3 has paved the way for a variety of independent video game showcases, and another one appears to have emerged unexpectedly.

For the first time ever, the gaming event known as “Named Galaxies” will be airing its inaugural show imminently, and it will only be available for viewing on Twitch.

Over fifty game announcements and updates will be presented, hailing from both established AAA publishers and aspiring independent development teams.

On the site, you’ll find well-known collaborators like Konami, Remedy Entertainment, Krafton, Saber Interactive, Team 17, and numerous others showcased prominently.

Among the highly-anticipated new releases, a few titles hinting at their participation include Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, SPINE, and FBC: Firebreak.

According to Chris Thomas, the ideal timing and attention (spotlight) can completely transform a game and its makers. With over 300 games being released on Steam each week and just a few major IPs ruling the charts, discoverability is now an issue. We’re aiming to introduce a new moment in the gaming schedule with Galaxies, a moment we hope will assist players in finding their next favorite game and benefit both small and large publishers and developers alike.

It’ll be kicking off at the following times:

  • North America: 12pm PDT / 1pm MDT / 2pm CDT / 3pm EDT
  • UK/Ire: 8pm BST
  • Europe: 9pm CEST / 10pm EEST
  • Asia/Oceania: 4am (Fri) JST / 3am (Fri) AWST / 5am (Fri) AEST

A fresh, brand-new series sure looks promising – can’t wait to find out what it offers! Are you planning to watch along? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section beneath this post.
