Two months after the former “The Bachelor” couple, who are also parents to Alessi (5) and twins Senna and Lux (3), announced that Arie had undergone a vasectomy reversal in hopes of having another child, they have now disclosed the gender of their fourth baby.

The following video captures the moment when the parents-to-be of four burst balloons filled with pink confetti, signifying they are expecting another daughter. In a different image of the family enjoying a pink birthday cake, the proud couple expressed their excitement in the caption, “We’re eagerly anticipating meeting you, baby GIRL.

It came as a surprise to Arie and Lauren when they discovered the gender of their baby; however, they had previously dressed their child in blue attire for a celebration, suggesting in a previous video that they expected a son.

In a video posted right before the gender reveal, Ari expressed her thoughts: ‘I believe we’re having a son.’ She added, ‘This pregnancy feels unique, so let’s go with team boy.’

Lauren, for her part, concurred, adding, “If my instincts are wrong, I’m going to be so shocked.”

Now that they have learned the gender of their upcoming baby, Arie and Lauren feel confident that their family is now whole and complete. Indeed, as they mentioned in their pregnancy announcement on March 10th, this fourth child is the final piece they were still lacking.

Absolutely, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham, who got married in 2019 following their encounter on season 22 of The Bachelor, had initially thought they were done expanding their family after the births of Senna and Lux. In fact, Arie had a vasectomy in 2022, assuming that their family was now complete.

Reflecting on his recent announcement about undergoing a reversal procedure, the 43-year-old admitted, “I probably moved too quickly.” In truth, he believes the difficulty of having twins initially was mainly due to his own circumstances.

At this point, Lauren, aged 33, was comfortable being a mother of three, yet eager to attempt having one more child. In her words, “I’m hoping for baby number 4 soon.

Back in June of 2018, Lauren recalled the day she first encountered Arie at a racing event in Dallas – an encounter that took place several months before she joined The Bachelor. She shared her reminiscence on Instagram with the words, “I met this charming man here a year ago today.

After moving to Arizona, where Arie originally hails from, the couple acquired their first home in Phoenix following the purchase of an $870,000 property. In an interview with Us Weekly, Lauren expresses her ease at adjusting to Arizona due to her mobile upbringing. She’s been meeting new people and settling in, though they haven’t been there for a long time yet. They’ve enjoyed exploring the region, and Arie’s expertise as a guide has made the experience even more enjoyable.

Back in November, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Arie and Lauren announced they were expecting their very first child – a precious little girl!
