PSVR2 Rhythm Game Synth Riders Latest Challenges+ Update Brings the Chaos

Instead of merely celebrating the debut of a fresh song collection, Kluge Interactive has unveiled an enhancement for their captivating rhythm game, Synth Riders. After the recent introduction of the Current Wave music pack, they’ve decided to roll out a new update specifically designed for the Challenges+ mode.

In this new update, players can anticipate tackling a sequence of hurdles that were originally associated with the multiplayer combat feature, where you aimed to disrupt your opponent using various cunning tactics. However, these power-ups have now been freed from the multiplayer setting and are being utilized by the developers to enrich the single-player “Challenges+” mode.

In the game, Kluge gets to choose which power-ups align with specific levels or challenges, but the exact positioning of these power-ups within each stage is determined by an algorithm. Some exciting power-ups you’ll encounter include…

Invaderz
Alien invaders target you with missiles
Warp
The gameplay stretches and speeds up
Embiggen
Notes get much larger
Minimize
Notes get much smaller
Prismatic
Changes notes into rainbows
Vanish
Notes turn invisible, and the rails become single notes
Random Colors
Mixes up the colors of notes and items

Additionally good to hear, the upgrade doesn’t cost a dime and it’s ready for use right away. Does this encourage you to fire up your game again? Share your thoughts in the comment area beneath.
