Following a challenging 12-week stretch, countless mornings awakening early, and many stumbles while presenting ideas – the victor of The Apprentice 2025 has finally been announced!
At the start of this year, a total of 18 determined contestants stepped into Lord Sugar’s office, each harboring aspirations to be chosen as his next business associate and receive a £250,000 investment for their venture.
But one-by-one, the numbers dwindled until just two remained.
In tonight’s final showdown, the last two contestants presented their pitches once more. After careful consideration, it was announced that Dean Franklin emerged victorious as the champion of this year’s edition of The Apprentice.
They were required to develop a fresh brand identity along with promotional marketing strategies prior to presenting their lifetime pitch to both seasoned professionals in the industry and, naturally, Lord Sugar himself.
Afterward, they convened in the boardroom for the final time, where Lord Sugar, Karren Brady, and Tim Campbell engaged in discussion about the candidates and their proposals, eventually sharing their opinions as they prepared to make the decisive decision.

Following presentations from both finalists about their suitability as business partners, Lord Sugar made his decision clear by stating: “Here’s my perspective. Dean, you’ve performed well overall during the process. There were instances where you barely managed to stay in the competition, but do I trust your understanding of the residential market? Given that food is a universal necessity, and even a £10 or £12 pizza is affordable for many, that’s where my current focus lies.
“Given deep consideration, I’m going to say that, Dean, you’re going to be my business partner.”
Ultimately, it was Dean’s air conditioning business, ADL Conditioning, that impressed Lord Sugar and received the £250,000 award.
Dean expressed, “Initially, I felt confident that I could handle it. I had faith in my abilities. However, when the first week arrived and I was plunged into the real world, it took me by surprise, as if a heavy load had fallen on me.
Initially, I faced some difficulties as I wasn’t able to close any deals. It seemed like I needed time to get accustomed and discover my selling approach.
In this situation, you’re managing a group of 18 individuals who are unknown to you initially, they’re all strangers. Each one has a vibrant personality, and due to the fear of being perceived as idle, everyone is attempting to shoulder more responsibilities than necessary, as everyone wants to appear active and productive.
“And it was so intense, so much to take in that I didn’t get off to the best start.”
However, it was from that moment Dean knew he “had to do better”.
Upon my return, everyone seemed ecstatic. It felt as though they had collectively thought, “Time for a change! Time for something new, because the current situation isn’t working. Let’s take a chance and move forward.
“And I think that broke a lot of barriers of mine. And then I was off to a good start.”
