This Easter weekend, folks in the U.K. are having a four-day holiday break, but they’ll need to tweak their TV watching schedules a bit since there’s been an update to the programming lineup.
Fans of EastEnders should note that the episode scheduled for Easter Monday, 21st April, has been moved from its regular 7:30 pm slot.
Instead, the show is scheduled for 6:50pm, as it needs to give way to the television debut of Tim Burton’s 2019 live-action Dumbo remake.
On the broader BBC One lineup, The One Show is set to play at 6:25 pm. This will be followed by EastEnders and Dumbo. A fresh episode of Paddy and Chris: Road Tripping will air immediately after at 9 pm. Notably, EastEnders will return to its regular 7:30 pm time slot on Tuesdays.

Monday’s episode of EastEnders will show Nigel taking the chance to demonstrate his worth, Junior’s demand puts Teddy in a tricky situation, and Priya tries her utmost to cheer up Avani.
Recently, EastEnders has seen some significant developments. Sonia, portrayed by Natalie Cassidy, recently left the neighborhood, following closely on the heels of the major happenings during the soap opera’s 40th anniversary, where James Bye’s character, Martin, met his tragic end.
The festivities for the anniversary were commemorated in various manners, such as by the reappearance of Ross Kemp, who confessed that his brief comeback to the program had left him feeling somewhat exhausted.
He mentioned: “It was marvelous, yet it leaves you feeling a bit drained afterwards. Grant returns instantly and before you know it, he’s quarreling, weeping, expressing affection, then weeping about it again, followed by another quarrel. He never simply relaxes in the laundry room.
In the festivities marking an anniversary, rather than casually asking for a bacon roll at a café, I found myself in an unexpected situation: forcing entry into the Arches, engaging in a struggle with my brother to obtain a Beretta 9mm.
There’s a piece of myself that feels like Grant, and conversely, there’s a portion of Grant that resonates with me. Wearing the leather jacket once more was delightful, and it was reassuring to find that I could still fit into it.
