Aurora Studio and Polaris Quest have unveiled a fresh trailer for their upcoming survival game, titled “Light of Motiram.” The one-minute video, which can be seen below, offers a glimpse into the gameplay set in its Outcast Forest area.
Apart from providing an overview of the game’s overall setting, the trailer for “Light of Motiram” also highlights some distinctive gaming features. Among these are the feature where players can wear a helmet to commandeer various robot characters within the game itself.
As far as the game’s narrative goes, the Outcast Forest is depicted by the developers as a secluded wooded region where members of the Dariman Tribe are banished for committing crimes. Consequently, it’s probable that the characters you interact with within this area will more often be tough, seasoned criminals instead of friendly companions.
Towards the latter part of the trailer, we catch glimpses of various boss battles against robotic monsters from the game. These battles seem to involve complex mechanics for players to manage and present a substantial level of difficulty.
In November, the game attracted some criticism due to its visual similarity to Guerrilla Games’ Horizon series. Although Light of Motiram does offer distinctive elements like survival gameplay with base-building and multiplayer support, its Mechanimals share a striking resemblance to the robotic creatures from the Horizon games.
Although Sony and Guerrilla Games share some resemblances, neither of them has spoken up regarding the issue. Most likely, their lack of comment suggests that the game ‘Light of Motiram’ will not face any legal challenges.
At the moment, “The Light of Motiram” is being worked on for release on PC (through Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android devices. A definite launch date hasn’t been announced yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on various online stores. Once it’s released later this year, “The Light of Motiram” will be a game that can be played for free.
In the game Light of Motiram, the survival aspects are crucial as players must collect diverse resources to construct and expand their settlement, as well as manufacture new items. The game’s design emphasizes realistic physics simulations to support its flexible building structure. Players will enjoy a good deal of creative liberty when designing their base, with intricate tree houses among ordinary town settings being possible.
Because the game, Light of Motiram, focuses on the environment inhabited by the Mechanimals, players can not only make friends with these mechanical creatures but also command them. In addition, this feature grants players the option to personalize their Mechanimals by adding new weapons and enhancing other components.
The Light of Motiram additionally ensures smooth multiplayer experiences online, where participants can effortlessly join and exit one another’s games, irrespective of their progression synchronization. Collaborative play enables users to engage in a variety of activities together, such as embarking on grand quests or constructing an expansive shared base. Furthermore, the game is designed to be cross-platform compatible.
