Although obtaining fresh Pokemon TCG card sets can sometimes be challenging, there’s still a sense of excitement when new ones are unveiled. Today, fans were given an early peek at an upcoming Premium Collection due out in June. The specific Premium Collection being discussed is the previously teased “Masks of Ogerpon,” which should not be confused with the recently released “Ogerpon EX Premium Collection.” This latest set once again showcases the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet logo, featuring some familiar items as well as some modifications.
The highly anticipated Masks of Ogerpon Premium Collection images have been unveiled, featuring both the front and back of the packaging. This collection is slated for release on June 13th and is rumored to cost $49.99. As of now, the set isn’t available at any retailers yet, but trustworthy sources like PokeBeach have shared images, which are often a reliable source for Pokemon news.

Ogerpon is a character who sparks strong opinions; some people are devoted fans while others strongly dislike him. Yet, this set comes with 10 booster packs and special promos of Ogerpon. Therefore, it’s expected to attract many, regardless of individual feelings towards Ogerpon. However, it seems that not all of Ogerpon’s masks will be included in the collection, as suggested by its name.
What’s Included in the Masks of Ogerpon Premium Collection
This new Premium Collection featuring Ogerpon will include the following items:
- 10 Pokemon TCG Booster Packs
- 1 Foil Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon EX reprint
- 1 Foil Wellspring Mask Oerpon EX reprint
- 1 oversized foil Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon EX
- Pokemon TCG Live code
Currently, there’s uncertainty about which exact booster packs are going to be featured, but the images on the box may provide some clues. However, it is almost certain that Scarlet & Violet era boosters, which are currently popular, will be part of the collection. It appears that packs will contain Twilight Masquerade, Temporal Forces, and Paradox Rift, among others. Notably absent from this set seem to be Surging Sparks and Prismatic Evolutions, two of the more challenging sets to obtain.
If you’re wondering what makes this year’s Premium Collection distinct from the one we had last year labeled as the Ogerpon ex Premium Collection, let me tell you they are quite dissimilar. Unlike its predecessor that came with Teal Mask Ogerpon promos, this new set features Hearthflame and Wellspring masks instead. Additionally, the contents of last year’s collection were unique, offering only 6 Pokemon TCG boosters. In contrast to those extra boosters, the previous Premium Collection came with Ogerpon card sleeves and a magnetic card protector.
It seems that the new Ogerpon Premium Collection is more suited for fans who enjoy opening booster packs over collecting additional items such as card sleeves.
As a devoted fan, I’ve been eagerly waiting for any news on the preorder date for the exquisite Masks of Ogerpon Premium Collection. Since the full release is slated for June, it seems we might not get a chance to preorder until next month.
