Fun Dog Studios’ developer team has unveiled a significant overhaul for their PvE cooperative shooter game, “The Forever Winter“, named the Nosebleeds update. This update is available immediately and introduces an array of fresh content such as a unique weapon tailored for co-op gameplay. In addition to this, there’s also a new character who will offer quests to help players gather components to construct the newly designed weapon.
In the missions, players come across a piecemeal Railgun. They must collaborate to construct this formidable weapon on the battlefield, a task that renders it indivisible thereafter. Once deployed, one player assumes control to direct and shoot it. Known for its immense power, it’s capable of annihilating a tank with a single shot, and even subduing some of the game’s colossal adversaries with a well-aimed stun.
It’s important to mention that the Railgun can be utilized effectively when a team of three players embarks on a mission simultaneously. An individual player doesn’t have enough components to carry for assembly in the field. Here’s a video demonstrating the latest weapon – take a look!
In addition to this update, “The Forever Winter” received numerous enhancements and bug corrections as well. For instance, there’s a fresh Weapon-part crafting station installed in the Innards, collision data has been optimized across multiple maps, issues with the Medium Mech’s patrol logic have been resolved, enemy behavior in kill-quests has been refined, and drones and helicopters have received performance upgrades. You can find all the specific details in the patch notes provided below.
The most recent significant upgrade for “The Forever Winter” was rolled out in March. Apart from addressing bugs, this update introduced a comprehensive overhaul to the game’s distinctive water mechanics. Known as Water 3.0, the mechanic no longer functions as a resource that drains continuously. Instead, it has been transformed into a form of currency that can be used to unlock access to various entry points across diverse regions.
