I found myself witnessing a turn of events in the world of One Piece, specifically concerning Stussy after Episode 1125. Instead of escaping the Egghead Incident Arc unscathed, she took a lethal blow that was intended for Dr. Vegapunk. Previously, she had betrayed CP0 and aligned herself with Vegapunk and the Straw Hat Pirates. The crew’s plan, which included defeating CP0, capturing York, and making their escape to Elbaf, seemed to be progressing smoothly.
However, the arrival of Admiral Kizaru on Egghead, accompanied by nine Vice Admirals and an armada of 100 Marine Ships, changed everything. Despite getting defeated, Rob Lucci proposed a temporary truce with the Straw Hats – a move that was strategically designed to gain some time, rather than being a genuine offer for peace.
In other words, when reinforcements arrived, he revealed his true ruthless nature by immediately attempting to kill Vegapunk. Unfortunately, Stussy stepped into his path and was struck fatally. This surprise attack from Lucci caught Vegapunk off guard as he hadn’t even noticed Lucci approaching. Sanji manages to subdue Kaku while Zoro confronts Lucci directly. At this point, we don’t know Stussy’s current condition, but it seems she may not have survived. Given Lucci’s character, it appears he intended a swift and decisive strike against Vegapunk, which suggests that Stussy taking the hit might mean trouble for her. However, more information about her fate could be revealed in future episodes.
One Piece’s Stussy Has Been an Important Ally to the Straw Hats in This Arc
Stussy, initially crafted by Vegapunk as a clone resembling Buckingham Stussy – a former associate of the Rocks Pirates and an ardent admirer of Edward Newgate – was the first successful clone ever created. Her unwavering allegiance to Vegapunk is rooted in his compassionate treatment towards her during her cloning process, making her feel more human. This bond leads her to volunteer for espionage by joining CP0, a move intended to safeguard Vegapunk in the future. Remarkably, she’s prepared to betray her long-time colleagues without any second thoughts, despite having worked with them for approximately 20 years.
In a turn of events, Stussy gets her chance to reciprocate the favor by joining the team in apprehending CP0 operatives on Egghead. Furthermore, without any second thoughts, she’s willing to risk her life for Vegapunk. Stussy made her debut during the Whole Cake Island Arc, but it was only now that she took a significant role. Her actions have proven beneficial to the Straw Hat Pirates amidst the turmoil. Despite enduring severe injuries, she managed to create an opportunity for Zoro to confront Rob Lucci and prevent him from threatening Vegapunk again. Stussy’s intentions mirror the crew’s aim of safeguarding Vegapunk.
1. With the Marines’ arrival, the Straw Hats are more occupied than ever, ensuring that enemies stay far from the scientist. Moreover, the lives of the Satellites hang in the balance, except for York’s, as he remains valuable to the Five Elders due to his traitorous role. As long as the Five Elders maintain York’s allegiance, they will retain control over Mother Flame, a power source capable of inflicting destruction on par with that caused by the Lulusia Kingdom.
2. The Marines’ presence has left the Straw Hats swamped with work, preventing enemies from getting close to the scientist. To complicate matters, the Satellites find themselves in peril, except for York, who is still considered useful by the Five Elders. Since they have York on their side, the Five Elders can control Mother Flame, a destructive force that rivals the devastation wrought upon the Lulusia Kingdom.
3. With the Marines now present, the Straw Hats are working harder than ever to keep enemies at bay from the scientist. The lives of the Satellites are under threat, except for York’s, as he continues to serve a useful purpose for the Five Elders. As long as they keep York on their side, the Five Elders will have control over Mother Flame, which has the power to inflict destruction comparable to what was experienced with the Lulusia Kingdom.
4. The arrival of the Marines means that the Straw Hats have more tasks on their plate than ever before, keeping enemies from reaching the scientist. To add to the complexity, the Satellites’ lives are in jeopardy, except for York’s, who remains valuable to the Five Elders due to his traitorous actions. As long as they keep York loyal, the Five Elders can wield Mother Flame, a destructive force that mirrors the devastation of the Lulusia Kingdom.
5. The Straw Hats are busier than ever with the Marines on scene, ensuring that enemies stay away from the scientist. The lives of the Satellites are in danger, except for York’s, as he still serves a purpose for the Five Elders thanks to his betrayal. As long as they keep York on their side, the Five Elders will have command over Mother Flame, a destructive force that matches the devastation brought by the Lulusia Kingdom.
