The tactical single-player game, titled “Star Wars Zero Company,” is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and personal computers through Steam and the Epic Games Store in the year 2026. This announcement was made jointly by publishers Electronic Arts and developers Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment.
According to Greg Foertsch, CEO and creative director of Bit Reactor, our concept for Star Wars Zero Company is built on core game design principles that seamlessly blend the captivating Star Wars universe with engaging turn-based strategy gameplay. Our goal is to develop a game featuring an exclusive Star Wars story set during the Clone Wars era, where player decisions matter and have significant impacts. Additionally, we aim to provide a rich turn-based tactical combat system that is easy to grasp yet cinematic in its presentation.
In simpler terms, Douglas Reilly, who is the general manager and vice president at Lucasfilm Games, stated, “We at Lucasfilm Games are big fans of strategy games and have been eager to create one like this for a while. The finest strategy games revolve around significant decisions, and we believe that Bit Reactor has the perfect team to produce an engaging and innovative title that truly embodies the spirit of Star Wars.

In the game titled “Star Wars Zero Company“, players get to experience the perspective of Hawks, a once loyal Republic officer, as he leads an exceptional team of versatile operatives. This gripping tale unfolds in the closing days of the Clone Wars, offering a realistic and authentic narrative. As a motley crew of skilled individuals from various corners of the galaxy, Zero Company must put aside their disagreements to tackle insurmountable challenges posed by an imminent danger that could engulf the entire galaxy if ignored.
In the game titled “Star Wars Zero Company“, players venture on strategic missions involving operations and investigations, spread throughout the galaxy. During downtime between missions, they establish a base and build an intelligence network through informants to stay ahead of their enemies, Zero Company’s adversaries. Players can design and personalize their own team of recruited operators while interacting with freshly written Star Wars characters.
In this game, you have the freedom to customize both the look and combat role of hawks, as well as recruit characters from a diverse range of original Star Wars character classes and species. Customize your team’s appearances, gear, and skills across various character types, such as Clone Troopers, astromechs, and even Jedi.
