It’s high time for some tactical chaos in the Star Wars universe! At the Bit Reactor Developer Panel during Star Wars Celebration Japan, EA, Respawn, and Bit Reactor unveiled a groundbreaking new single-player turn-based RTS: Star Wars Zero Company. Similar to XCOM, you’ll lead an elite squad of galactic heroes to thwart those who threaten life as we know it. This innovative title promises a fresh narrative and original characters that will take the series into unexplored territories in terms of gameplay. The game is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the year 2026.

The narrative of “Star Wars Zero Company” revolves around Hawks, a character who can be entirely tailored, gathering an elite team from across the galaxy to eliminate a menacing danger capable of annihilating everything. This unfolds at the conclusion of the Clone Wars. From a Mandalorian warrior to a Jedi Knight, your expanding team becomes crucial in achieving victory, particularly during battles. Utilizing turn-based real-time strategy combat, you’ll shift the balance and secure victory, regardless of the sacrifices required. You will also have opportunities to strengthen relationships with characters between missions as you evolve and adjust to the ever-changing world around you.
