The much-awaited Season 8 of “Rick and Morty” is set to kick off on Adult Swim this coming Spring, but a select group of animation enthusiasts will get a sneak peek before everyone else at the upcoming Stuttgart International Festival of Animation in May. It’s been a while since we last saw Season 7, and the delay for the new season has been longer than fans initially anticipated. The excitement for the upcoming season is palpable, and a fortunate few will get to catch Rick and Morty Season 8 ahead of its official debut as part of the Stuttgart International Festival of Animation later in May.
At the Stuttgart International Animated Film Festival happening from May 6-11 in Germany, Adult Swim is offering a wealth of content for fans, and among these offerings is definitely Rick and Morty. On Friday, May 5th, one of the highlights is a sneak peek at the upcoming season, showcasing the early premiere (and hinting at further announcements) of the first two episodes of Season 8 for Rick and Morty, namely “Summer of All Fears” and “Valkyrick”, which aligns with the previously disclosed episode titles.
When Does Rick and Morty Season 8 Come Out?
As an observer, I’m excited to share that a select few will get a sneak peek first, but it won’t be long before the world welcomes the official premiere of Rick and Morty Season 8 with Adult Swim. The much-anticipated season will kick off on May 25th at 11:00pm ET/PT on Adult Swim, followed by its streaming availability starting September 1st, on both Max and Hulu. The talented cast and crew from Season 7 are all set to return for their roles, with series co-creator Dan Harmon and showrunner Scott Marder confirmed to be back at the helm of Rick and Morty.
It’s been confirmed that Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell, and Spencer Grammer are set to reprise their roles in the upcoming season of “Rick and Morty.” Adult Swim previews Season 8 with an exciting statement: “Get ready for Rick and Morty’s return in Season Eight! Life feels meaningful once again! The possibilities are endless! Expect thrilling escapades with Summer, Jerry, Beth, and the other Beth. Will Butter Bot receive a new assignment? Whatever transpires, you can bet that Rick and Morty will rise again quickly. Many have attempted to keep them down, but they always bounce back!
