On the second night of WrestleMania 41, WWE started off with an exhilarating match that was one of the highlights on the schedule. The climax couldn’t have been more dramatic. Iyo Sky faced a challenging mission, as she defended her WWE Women’s World Championship against both Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. Throughout the bout, there were numerous instances where Sky’s title reign seemed precarious. This was particularly evident in the final sequence, where Belair delivered a powerful blow to Ripley with her braid, coming close to securing the victory. However, just as it seemed Belair had won, Sky swooped in and knocked out Belair, ensuring she retained the title. Now, one can’t help but ponder about what lies ahead for Ripley and Belair.
In the wrestling ring, Sky wouldn’t tolerate disrespect from either Belair or Ripley. After sending Ripley crashing to the mat and pushing back Belair with a dropkick, it was just Belair and Ripley squaring off. Belair rammed Ripley into a corner, then managed to get Sky there as well before launching an assault of blows. However, Sky managed to trip up Belair by her braid.

In this wrestling match, Belair delivered a strong kick with her boot to Ripley, and soon after, Sky performed a powerful slam on both opponents. Following that, Sky executed a dropkick on them simultaneously. Ripley responded by executing a cannonball maneuver on Belair, and then Sky was eliminated with a high-flying moonsault. Belair then gained the upper hand, bringing Sky to the ground. However, Ripley intervened, pulling Belair out of the ring. In an unexpected turn of events, Belair managed to catch hold of Sky. The two opponents, Ripley and Belair, subsequently took down Sky against the barricade. But it wasn’t long before the battle shifted back to Ripley versus Belair within the ring once more.
Initially, Ripley held Sky in a submission hold, but Ripley managed to lift themselves and interrupt the move. In the ensuing chaos, both Ripley and Belair knocked each other out before Sky seized the opportunity. The trio then clashed on the top rope, resulting in all of them being slammed onto the mat. Shortly after, Sky overpowered Ripley, but suddenly, Belair unexpectedly leaped into action and knocked down Sky. Belair ascended to the top rope and executed a 450-degree splash, yet Ripley disrupted any pin attempts. Eventually, Ripley performed the Riptide on Belair, attempting to secure the win, but Belair refused to submit.
In this match, Ripley attempted another move called Riptide, this round on Sky’s turf. However, Sky turned the tables and delivered a powerful slam to Ripley. In retaliation, Ripley retaliated with a massive kick to the Champ’s face, followed by an attempt to execute the Riptide while holding her up on the top rope. Unfortunately for Ripley, Sky managed to counter this move and quickly climbed back up. Sky performed a daring moonsault, but Ripley cleverly raised her knees in defense. Belair stepped in with a KOD maneuver, but at the last second, Ripley thwarted it.
Initially, Belair unleashed some anger on Ripley, who quickly retaliated. They engaged in several blows before ending up on the ropes. Sky positioned Ripley, but found herself slammed into the ring post instead. Belair attempted to execute the KOD on Ripley, but she managed to land on her feet. Ripley then aimed for a Riptide, but Belair countered with a whiplash using her braid. Belair successfully performed the KOD, but Sky intervened with a moonsault and claimed the pin and victory, thus retaining her Championship.
Currently, there’s speculation about where Ripley and Naomi’s storylines are headed. It appears that Belair might be entering a major feud with Jade Cargill following their recent encounter on SmackDown. As for Belair, it seems likely given the dynamic between them. However, Ripley’s future is less clear. She could potentially move to SmackDown for a fresh challenge, or engage in a rivalry with returning stars like Becky Lynch or Alexa Bliss. The outcome depends on where Ripley ends up post-WrestleMania. For more details, you can view the updated card and results below.
