Kanao’s Fierce Transformation Ignites Excitement for Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Release!

In simple terms, “Demon Slayer” is a series inspired by the popular manga created by Koyoharu Gotouge. The story revolves around Kamado Tanjiro, a compassionate village boy whose life takes an unexpected turn when he returns home to find his family brutally killed, with only his younger sister Nezuko surviving – but now transformed into a demon. In a bid to restore Nezuko’s human form, Tanjiro enlists in the Demon Slayer Corps, a group dedicated to battling demons. As he undergoes rigorous training alongside other members of the Corps, Tanjiro manages to maintain his benevolent character and human spirit throughout his demon-fighting journey.

As I stand here, I can’t help but marvel at the incredible journey of the Demon Slayer franchise. Back in 2020, its manga concluded and astonishingly sold over 150 million copies worldwide. Then, Studio Ufotable breathed life into this series, creating four visually captivating seasons and a movie, Mugen Train, which surpassed the box office record set by Spirited Away in Japan.

Now, the franchise is on the brink of shattering its own records with its upcoming movie, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, slated for release on July 18th, 2025, exclusively for Japanese audiences. To generate excitement for this new chapter, Demon Slayer has been running a daily countdown on their official Twitter account, @kimetsu_off.

Kanao Joins Tanjiro To Hype Up Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle

88 days remain until the premiere of “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle,” and the franchise’s X account is generating excitement daily with new posts. Today’s focus is on Kanao Tsuyuri, the Flower Breathing Slayer who shares a family bond with Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira. Initially shy and hesitant, Kanao often relied on flipping a coin to guide her decisions.

Following her encounter with Tanjiro, there was a noticeable transformation in her character, as he inspired her to rely on her emotions rather than mere luck. Now, on the 89th day of the countdown for ‘Demon Slayer’, her development is apparent. Her demeanor is stern and slightly enraged, devoid of any trace of shyness. Interestingly, she’s no longer wearing her white cloak, which previously made her appear smaller, and instead looks ready for battle more than ever before.

In “Infinity Castle”, Tanjiro was highlighted for day 88 out of 100. He’s promoting the latest Demon Slayer movie with a standee featuring him in his signature green and black checkered haori, accompanied by the standard Demon Slayer attire. With a cheerful expression on his face, he’s shown carrying Nezuko’s box on his back, although she may not be prominent in the upcoming film. The post’s caption informs Japanese fans that they can purchase advance tickets at their local theater box office.

Everything To Know About Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle

The climactic Infinity Castle arc from “Demon Slayer” is getting a three-part movie adaptation, with the initial film scheduled for release in Japan on July 18th. Unfortunately, those fans outside of Japan who were anticipating a simultaneous broadcast won’t be so lucky, as the movie won’t be simulcast and it also won’t hit theaters in the same month. Instead, viewers in the United States will have to wait two full months to witness the epic confrontation between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan on September 12th. Some countries, however, may enjoy shorter delays in their screenings.

As the leader of the Demon Corps faces peril, Tanjiro and the Hashira race to their base, only to be mysteriously transported by Muzan Kibutsuji into an unknown realm. The location they’ve been taken to is none other than the demons’ fortress – the Infinity Castle. Thus, the stage is set for the climactic battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demonic forces, with sparks flying as the conflict erupts.
