It seems that Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios are hinting at an upcoming reveal regarding the long-speculated remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
Multiple users from Bethesda on Bluesky posted the same image, which was a close-up of a warrior’s eye with “IV” in roman numerals, hinting at an announcement scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time or 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time on April 22nd, 2025. This announcement will be broadcasted live on Bethesda’s YouTube and Twitch platforms.
For quite some time now, whispers about its return have circulated among us tech enthusiasts. The spark ignited when it appeared on a list of upcoming projects from ZeniMax Media, which unexpectedly leaked during the Microsoft vs. FTC court case.
Lately, screenshots and logos from the game have been leaked through the site of Virtuos, a studio believed to be spearheading the development of this remastered version.
It appears that leaked images suggest that The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered will debut on the Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 5. Given its status as an Xbox exclusive title, it’ll undoubtedly be accessible right away through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
