Though they first publicly displayed signs of their romantic connection by sharing a PDA-filled Easter post on April 20, it’s interesting to know that they had encountered each other about three years prior on the set of a film.

In the course of events, Hurley and Cyrus, who have children Brandi Cyrus (aged 37), Trace Cyrus (36), Miley Cyrus (32), Braison Cyrus (30), Noah Cyrus with ex Trish Cyrus, and Christopher Cody Cyrus (33) with ex Kristin Lucky, initially met during the filming of the 2022 movie titled “Christmas in Paradise.

In the follow-up movie titled “Father Christmas is Back‘s Sequel,” actor Cyrus takes on the role of Jimmy Love, a talented musician who reunites Hurley’s character Joanna Christmas’ family for a special holiday celebration in the beautiful Caribbean.

In the meantime, Hurley – mother of son Damian Hurley with ex Steve Bing – didn’t start dating the country singer soon afterward, but she did praise her experience collaborating with him, labeling it as the “most inspiring” aspect of the project.

In her 2022 interview with MovieWeb, Elizabeth expressed, “It was a significant advantage for me to collaborate with Billy Ray. I’ve admired his work for a long time, as my son, who used to watch Hannah Montana frequently, would often make me do the same. Given our prior connection through that show and some of his music, it was no surprise that I knew him quite well.

Of course, it’s no surprise that Damian showed enthusiasm for his mother and Cyrus’ blossoming relationship, as evident by his comment of a heart and celebration emoji on their shared Instagram post from April 20th.

Eight months after finalizing his divorce with ex-wife Firerose (married in October 2023), Cyrus embarks on a new romance with Hurley. Their paths crossed when Cyrus encountered the Australian singer Hannah Montana during auditions for her Disney show, where they later developed a connection.

In the midst of their passionate relationship, they teamed up to create music, with a Christmas tune titled “Christmas in Paradise” and a piece called “Time,” being among the results.

Although Hurley isn’t working together with her country music partner in a recording studio, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer has chosen to collaborate with his children instead. Recently, she joined son Braison on his charity single “Oh What a Dream We Had,” performing alongside his youngest daughter Noah.

Earlier this month, Braison shared during an interview with People that both his sister and father seemed ideal candidates for participating in the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s charity event.

Billy Ray Cyrus married Tish Cyrus (née Leticia Finley) on Dec. 28, 2003.

Back then, I was part of a family that already had a 12-month-old daughter named Destiny Hope Cyrus, who later became known as Miley Cyrus. At the same time, my partner was expecting our son Braison Cyrus, who made his arrival on May 9, 1994.

Approximately seven months prior to Miley’s birth on November 23, 1992, Billy Ray’s former partner, Kristin Luckey, welcomed their son, Christopher Cody Cyrus, into the world on April 8.

In his marriage to Tish, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer legally took on the role of parenting Brandi Cyrus (born May 26, 1987) and Trace Cyrus (Feb. 24, 1989), who were previously Baxter Helson’s children from a previous marriage with Tish.

Trish and Billy Ray’s youngest, daughter Noah Cyrus, was born Jan. 8, 2000.

Between 2006 and 2010, Billy Ray portrayed the character of Miley’s regular kid who secretly becomes a pop star on the Disney Channel show “Hannah Montana” and a movie version of it in 2009.

Meanwhile, the Cyrus family remained in Nashville, but Billy Ray and Miley decided to head to Los Angeles to kick off her entertainment endeavors.

In October 2010, Billy Ray and Tish officially announced their separation, but by the next year, they had reconciled.

In June 2013, they initiated divorce proceedings once more, yet by the end of July, they had second thoughts. They shared with TopMob News that they had attended couples therapy, which seemed to have significantly improved their relationship.

What started as a friendship turned into more during the darkest days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Billy Ray amended his plan and filed for divorce, which was settled that August.
