Hailey Bieber’s Shocking Health Secret: You Won’t Believe What’s Happening to Her Body Now!

Hailey Bieber is getting candid about her health.

As a devoted mother, I recently took to social media to share some insights about my body, specifically post-partum changes, less than a year after welcoming my son, Jack Blues Bieber, with my husband Justin Bieber.

She shared on Instagram Stories on April 21st that she currently has two ovarian cysts. If anyone is dealing with ovarian cysts, she empathizes and stands with them!

Ovarian cysts are pockets filled with fluid that may develop either inside or on the ovary’s surface. The Mayo Clinic confirms this. Typically, these cysts are harmless and will disappear naturally. However, there are instances when an ovarian cyst can rupture, leading to potentially severe symptoms like intense abdominal pain and bloating.

Hailey didn’t offer any details about her situation, but she did share a picture where she lifted her shirt to reveal her bare abdomen.

On more than one occasion, this 28-year-old woman has faced health emergencies. In March 2022, she had a minor stroke which ultimately revealed an underlying heart condition. This harrowing episode stands among her most terrifying experiences.

In my recent morning routine, I was savoring breakfast with my dear husband, when suddenly I experienced symptoms reminiscent of a stroke. Swiftly, I was rushed to the hospital where medical professionals discovered a minuscule blood clot in my brain. This tiny interloper momentarily disrupted the flow of oxygen, but miraculously, my body managed to expel it on its own. Within just a few short hours, I made a full and complete recovery.

In time, it was discovered that Hailey had Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO), a condition where a small passage between the upper chambers of her heart, which typically closes after birth, remained open. To mend her heart, Hailey underwent a procedure to seal this sizable opening as she described it.

In her YouTube video from April 2022, she mentioned that after taking a test, they discovered a Grade 5 PFO in her, the maximum grade possible. At that moment, she expressed gratitude for their detection of it, knowing it was present.

Hailey mentioned that medical professionals suspect a blood clot moved to her heart, leading to a temporary stroke-like incident known as a transient ischemic attack (TIA).

She expressed her sense of great relief as they managed to sort everything out and bring things to a close. She’s looking forward to leaving this frightening experience behind and resuming her usual life.

In her April 2022 YouTube video, she mentioned that after taking a test, they discovered I had a PFO of the highest grade, which is the maximum level. Yet, at that moment, I was simply thankful they detected it and were aware of its presence.

Hailey was informed by doctors that a blood clot likely moved towards her heart, resulting in her experiencing a brief ischemic attack, also known as a transient ischemic attack (TIA).

She expressed her sense of relief as they managed to resolve all issues and bring things to a close. She also mentioned that she’s eager to leave behind the terrifying ordeal and return to living her life in peace.

In a 2025 episode of the “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” podcast, Devine expressed that it’s been an extremely difficult time for him. He has been experiencing spasms throughout his body and was informed by doctors that he was close to death, specifically within the last year.

Previously on Bachelor Nation, this ex-contestant revealed that he had to visit the hospital, crawling on his hands and knees, because of excruciating back pain which worsened during a camping trip in an RV with a buddy.

In the March 2025 edition of his “Trading Secrets” podcast, he commented, “Even as I speak, my toes to knees are numb, it’s quite unusual.” To give you an idea, let me clarify that about two to four weeks prior, I was likely squatting around 295 pounds. Now, I can’t even do a single-leg squat without falling – it’s as if I’ve had a minor stroke or something similar.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

In December 2024, a player in the AHL had his skin sewn up with 25 stitches when another player’s skate accidentally sliced him during a game. Later, after he had fully recovered, his father, who is the general manager of the New Jersey Devils named Tom Fitzgerald, expressed gratitude to fate, stating, “We were incredibly fortunate. I wouldn’t wish such an incident on any parent.

Back in March 2025, Gina Kirschenheiter from The Real Housewives of Orange County revealed that her former spouse, Matt Kirschenheiter, had experienced a heart attack. Fortunately for everyone involved, he made it through this harrowing incident.

Back in March 2025, I found myself, heart pounding and palms sweating, at the pulsating heartbeat of basketball – Madison Square Garden for a New York Knicks game. But the excitement was short-lived as my beloved 30 Rock star, whom I’ve adored since “Kenneth’s Vodka Day,” had to be whisked away in a hurry. The sight of him being wheeled out of the very arena we both cherish left me reeling with worry and concern.

On the next day, the comedian posted an update on social media, explaining it was due to food poisoning and he was recovering well.

In February 2025, Sharon from Even Stevens disclosed that she was accidentally hit by a shot while celebrating her husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday by shooting clay pigeons.

Another person at our gathering discharged a gun carelessly, and unfortunately, I got hit in the face by a stray bullet. Brendan Rooney quickly stepped in, evaluated my injuries, and swiftly took me to the hospital. The bullets struck five different spots on my body; one was just inches away from my right eye.

The former Kim Possible star added, “Regrettably, a piece became stuck near my eye, and it’s currently not safe for surgery. However, doctors are keeping close tabs on me, and I can see fine for now.

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude for simply being alive, stating, “My affection for my daughters, husband, family, and friends runs incredibly deep.” She recounted a moment where she felt her life pass before her, urging everyone to embrace the people around them whenever possible. She emphasized that life can unexpectedly alter in a blink of an eye.

Although the internet can sometimes be unkind, Amy Schumer is grateful that in this situation, it provided her with helpful insights.

In an episode of Call Her Daddy from January 2025, Amy reminisced about facing criticism online after numerous interviews. She said, “The internet was really harsh towards me, and I was like, ‘Alright everyone, calm down.’ But then doctors started commenting, saying they thought something was wrong with my health based on my unusual appearance.”

She continued, “I thought, ‘Am I being trolled by doctors?’ After they suggested Cushing syndrome, I realized that I had been receiving steroid injections for my scars from procedures like a breast reduction and C-section.”

Amy then explained, “I didn’t know anything about Cushing syndrome if the internet hadn’t piled on so much. But now I understand that I have this condition, which is treatable and won’t cause long-term harm to my health.”

Today, Amy is relieved to be in good health. She shared in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Learning that the type of Cushing syndrome I have will resolve itself and that I am healthy was the best news I could have hoped for.

Hailey Bieber had a terrifying incident that left her frightened in March 2022 during a breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. She suddenly started experiencing symptoms similar to a stroke, which caused her face to droop and made it difficult for her to speak. Despite these alarming signs, her speech eventually returned, but she went to the hospital to ensure everything was okay.

Upon further examination, it was revealed that Hailey had experienced a small blood clot in her brain, known as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further tests at the University of California, Los Angeles, discovered a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO), and it was determined that this hole allowed the blood clot to travel from her heart into her brain.

Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure, and she is now feeling well.

2022 also marked a health challenge for Justin Bieber, as he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. This condition temporarily paralyzed parts of his face, leading him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour. In an Instagram video, he explained that the virus had affected the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, causing one-sided facial paralysis. At the time, he couldn’t blink one eye, smile on half of his face, or move one nostril. He also mentioned it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to eat. However, the paralysis eventually subsided. Hailey, in a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America, shared that Justin is doing well now and is recovering nicely. She expressed her relief that he’s okay after this unexpected health scare.

Initially, Jamie Foxx preferred not to reveal the details of his hospitalization in April 2023. However, in his 2024 Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was…”, he shared his experience. On a particular day in Atlanta, he complained of a severe headache and asked for an aspirin. Before he could take the medicine, he fainted and lost consciousness for about 20 days.

Initially examined by a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home, his sister, Deidra Dixon, became alarmed and drove him to a hospital. The diagnosis was a brain bleed that led to a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day, Foxx woke up in a wheelchair on May 4 and was unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

“I just want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I truly needed them all.

In 2019, actress Emilia Clarke, who is known for her role in Game of Thrones, penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker. During filming, she experienced a severe headache at the gym which escalated into vomiting and worsening pain. She was rushed to the hospital where they discovered a life-threatening type of stroke called a subarachnoid hemorrhage due to an arterial rupture, or aneurysm.

She underwent immediate surgery to seal the aneurysm, but the pain was described as unbearable. During recovery, she experienced aphasia and spoke incoherently. A week later, her condition improved, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month.

However, at a 2013 brain scan, they discovered that the growth had doubled in size, requiring another surgery. She shared that when she woke up from the procedure, she was in severe pain as it failed to address her condition effectively. They then resorted to an old-fashioned method of accessing her brain through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia is now reportedly “at a hundred percent.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this:

In the midst of my personal journey, I, Cori Broadus, am deeply grateful for the unwavering support from my family. Last January, I found myself battling a severe stroke, and in an instant, my loved ones were by my side. I shared the news with them through texts and images, and they all rushed to my rescue.

Due to other health complications, my hospital stay was longer than anticipated. Post-stroke, my lupus wasn’t responding well, and my kidneys were failing. The situation was dire, but I persevered. Today, I can proudly say that I am on the road to recovery.

“I’m doing great,” I shared. “There were some motor skills I had to regain, but otherwise, I was fine.” This experience has only made me stronger and more appreciative of the love and care from my family.

In her twenties, Shailene Woodley experienced numerous health issues, some of which were severe. At one point, she began losing her hearing, struggled to walk for more than five minutes without needing long periods of rest, and found almost everything she ate caused discomfort in her stomach. This combination of problems led to various diagnoses from different doctors.

Determined to find a solution, Shailene, who has a background in holistic medicine and herbalism, sought help from both conventional medical professionals and alternative healers. This decade-long quest for wellness also took a toll on her mental health.

“During that period,” she explained, “my discomfort physically led to fear of food, which then developed into body dysmorphia, confusion about my identity, and feelings of insecurity in my own skin.”

After addressing both her physical and emotional well-being, Shailene is now feeling much better. She shared, “This journey eventually resolved my physical health issues, and I am delighted to say that I am now in excellent health.
