You Won’t Recognize George Clooney Now!

George Clooney will need some luck after ditching his silver fox look.

Lately, the Oscar-winning actor decided to change his usual gray hair to a dark brown shade as he prepares to portray Edward R. Murrow in the Broadway adaptation of the film “Good Night, and Good Luck,” which he both directed and acted in back in 2005.

Though the 63-year-old was excited to bring the movie to life on stage, he and his wife, Amal Clooney, were not fond of the hairstyle change he had to make to embody the wartime journalist role.

In a recent interview on CBS Mornings, broadcasted on April 21, he expressed that his new hairstyle isn’t something he particularly likes, saying, “I’m not fond of it,” or perhaps more casually, “It’s not my favorite.” He added that one never truly grows accustomed to it.

George continued, “It’s not my favorite look, and my wife, she thinks it’s funny.”

Similarly, the couple’s 7-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, couldn’t help but chuckle when they spotted George with his newly dyed hair. As the actor from “Ocean’s Eleven” explained, “It’s true that nothing seems to age you faster than being 63 and coloring your hair.

The film “Good Night, and Good Luck” premiered on April 3 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. On that night, George, who was 47 years old at the time, unfortunately couldn’t attend due to the need to be with his children.

Despite that, I found myself unfazed by the situation. You see, my wife Amal, whom we wed in 2014, and I have worked out our parenting routine quite efficiently.

George expressed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in February that a play actually works well as a schedule because you work at night. This way, he gets to spend time with his children during the day, and it seems acceptable to him.

Besides, he noted, Alexander and Ella “love” exploring the Big Apple.

“Come on, how do you not love this?” George quipped. “It’s New York City.”
