2025 WDYTYA Stars Unveiled: Shocking Family Secrets to be Revealed!

In its 21st season, Who Do You Think You Are? is back, featuring a team of eight famous individuals who delve into their ancestry, uncovering hidden stories that will not only astonish them but also captivate the audience as they explore their roots.

During this season, well-known individuals will disclose “amazing discoveries” concerning their family lineage, stretching back approximately 800 years.

Both viewers and celebrities will have the opportunity to travel virtually to various destinations, such as the United Kingdom, Jamaica, the USA, and France.

But who are this year’s celebrities looking for answers?

Andrew Garfield

As a big fan, I can’t help but sing the praises of Diane Morgan, a multi-talented comedian and actress who has left an indelible mark on my heart with her unforgettable portrayal of Philomena Cunk in a collection of mockumentary series. From Cunk on Britain to Cunk on Life and Cunk on Earth, each episode showcases her unique blend of wit, humor, and insight that never fails to entertain me.

Beyond that, she has appeared in Motherland, After Life and Mandy.

Morgan independently discovers her family history, uncovering a heartwarming romance tale and her forebearer’s courageous struggle for the recognition of their illegitimate offspring’s rights.

Fred Sirieix

Fred Siriex, the well-known hotel manager from France, is famously recognized as a regular on Channel 4’s First Dates. Most recently, he was a contestant on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

In the episode featuring Siriex, he embarks on a voyage to France to delve into his family history, during which he stumbles upon a romantic tale from the war era and is pleasantly surprised by an unanticipated link to winemaking.

Layton Williams

Layton Williams is a multi-talented actor, with extensive experience on both stage and television. He began his career on the West End at a young age, appearing in Billy Elliot the Musical, followed by Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Cabaret, and most recently, Titanique. For his role in Titanique, he was honored with an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.

Apart from that, Williams can boast appearances in ‘Bad Education’ and reaching the finals of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in the year 2023 as well.

Mishal Husain

Mishal Husain serves as a broadcaster, having hosted various news programs for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and also the popular BBC Radio 4’s Today program.

It became public knowledge in November 2024 that Husain had decided to part ways with the BBC prior to moving on to Bloomberg News.

In a surprising turn of events, Husain’s story will lead the television executive on a journey to India, where she uncovers her ancestor who served as a personal physician to a Maharaja. Moreover, this voyage takes an unexpected direction, sending her eastward across the United States’ coastline.

Ross Kemp

Ross Kemp is primarily recognized for his acting role as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders, but many are also familiar with him due to his documentary work. Notably, he has been the lead presenter for the BAFTA-winning series “Ross Kemp on Gangs.

Since 2022, Kemp has been presenting game show Bridge of Lies.

This season, Will delves into his grandfather’s remarkable tale as an airman with Bomber Command during World War Two, and his subsequent capture and imprisonment as a German POW.
