Kelly Ripa’s Daughter Teases NSFW Photos with Dad’s Approval

Payback is the sincerest form of flattery when it comes to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

Lola Consuelos, the 23-year-old daughter of the couple, has playfully hinted at an upcoming risqué photo session with her partner Cassius, drawing inspiration from her own parents for the project.

In a recent interview with People (April 22), Lola expressed her feelings about one of their revealing beach photos: “It’s simply not needed in my opinion. It’s not something I particularly enjoy,” she told her mother Kelly. Shifting perspectives, she asked, “Suppose I were to share this photo with my boyfriend, how would dad react?

Though, perhaps the singer didn’t necessarily get the reaction she expected.

“Omg that’s a great idea,” Kelly, 54, quipped back. “We should recreate that photo and see.”

The photo under discussion features Kelly and her husband Mark (aged 54), captured during their vacation. In the image, Kelly can be seen leaning forward while wearing a black swimsuit, with Mark, her spouse since 1996 (who is shirtless in this picture), offering an approving smile. Shared in 2021, Kelly accompanied this picture with the caption, “When the finish line is within reach…

Kelly mentioned that what makes this picture special is she used the timer on her phone to take it, and she was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out. She explained, ‘I had to bend over slightly, and Michael (27) was walking behind me. I decided to test the camera, saying, ‘Let’s see if this will work.’ To my delight, it resulted in a very adorable photo. And I remain proud of that picture.’

No matter how she broke it down, Lola didn’t agree with her mother.

She joked, “Adorable is madness!” I can’t afford it, and I can hardly wait to replicate it with my partner. My father might just have a heart flutter from excitement.

To which Kelly added, “You definitely troll us for sure. Big time. Threatening us big time.”

However, Lola now finds humor in the situation, nearly four years since her mother initially posted the picture that she previously found embarrassing.

“I also do find it funny,” she said. “I mean I do find it funny, now I find it funny.”

Additionally, despite Kelly and Mark openly sharing NSFW images and intimate confessions, they’ve chosen to keep such content away from their children’s eyes by ensuring their kids don’t engage with their social media platforms to steer clear of their public displays of affection (PDA) photos.

In an interview with TopMob News in April 2023, Kelly expressed her strong belief that we have been blocked. She explained, “When you see a news feed suggesting more content or recommending channels, but it refuses to suggest or recommend any channel connected to our names, I am convinced they are blocking us. It’s similar to how they block us on social media platforms. They find ways to keep us out.

During a 2017 episode of Live! With Kelly, when husband Mark Consuelos joined the show, wife Kelly Ripa took the chance to voice a grievance. She said, “When we have private moments as a couple at home, Mark becomes rude towards me afterwards, and I don’t appreciate that. It seems strange to me. He acts annoyed.”

Though Kelly later clarified it was all in jest, when she noticed her comment became a popular topic, husband Mark felt compelled to clear up the misconception on air a few days later. “I just wanted to make it clear that no one can be rude after something if they are asleep,” he said. “I sleep.”

Kelly added, “Perhaps that’s what I meant. I didn’t really mean rude. I meant completely uninterested—like sound asleep.

The trio of kids, Michael Consuelos, Lola Consuelos, and Joaquin Consuelos, have to be careful whenever they casually browse through social media due to a specific reason. For instance, recall when Mark once mentioned during an episode in 2019 that he would manage his Instagram feed for the series Riverdale, which prompted Kelly to say, “Oooooooooh. Daddy, I love when you take over.”

This is just one example of why the popular morning show host is rather positive that her children have made an effort to delete any evidence of their presence on social media platforms. As she shared with TopMob News in April 2023, “I’m quite sure they have blocked any accounts featuring our names. Just like they block us on social media – they find ways to do it.

Is that a bulge in the picture from Bruce Bozzi and Mark wearing CHiPs costumes or is it just a shadow, Kelly’s husband wondered when she posted the Halloween throwbacks in 2020. He commented, “I think it might be a shadow causing that effect,” to which Kelly replied, “Ummm, baby, are you seeing shadows?” Later, on TopMob’s Daily Pop, Kelly addressed the topic of her husband’s apparent assets when host Justin Sylvester mentioned it was one of the reasons they’d been married for so long. She responded, “It’s not the only reason we’ve been married this long, but I would say it’s definitely one of the top three.

Instead of grumbling, Kelly found herself being meticulous about conducting a thorough body scan before posting any family memories on Halloween, due to the photo frenzy that ensued.

When Justin Sylvester commented on Instagram that Kelly had been particularly selective with the images she shared from her November 2020 tropical vacation, the morning host playfully responded, “You have no idea how precise I’ve been. And it’s quite restricting (I’m not complaining).

The key to their long-lasting marriage, which has now surpassed the 30-year mark and has produced three children, according to Kelly on a 2021 episode of Live!, is “Love and intimate moments.

During the conversation about the TV series “Scenes From a Marriage,” Mark, standing in for a co-host, and his colleague, Kelly, revealed an intimate side of their stress management technique.

Kelly mentioned that in the Consuelos household, such issues wouldn’t arise as Mark would swiftly address them. She described his approach as, “He would say something like, ‘You seem upset? I can handle that. You’re not happy with something? I’ve got this covered. You feel overwhelmed at work? Let me take care of it. I know what you need.'”

She continued by saying, “Because for Mark, things are always resolved with—” before Mark chimed in, “Love.” Kelly then added, “Love and intimacy,” to which Mark responded, “Not everything is about that!” But she clarified, “Just about almost everything.

Mark reacted in a lively manner when Kelly shared a picture of herself wearing a vibrant rainbow sequin sweatshirt. Noticing the phrase “More Glitter, Less Twitter” on her outfit, the actor playfully questioned, “Darling, is that a ‘G’ or a ‘C’? I have a friend who might be interested.

Reminiscing about her youngest son Joaquin’s 18th birthday, it seems that memories of her being in her birthday attire unexpectedly resurfaced. When Mark posted an Instagram tribute in February 2021, saying “Our little guy is all grown up,” Kelly playfully commented, “You know what? Creating him was such a blast.” It’s also worth noting that the conception of Joaquin was quite the global adventure, as Mark mentioned he was born during a trip to Montreal.

On a September 2022 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Andy Cohen asked his friend a question about a game named “Have You Ever Had Sex There?” The answer was affirmative for various locations including public bathrooms, their shared “All My Children” set, and even a boat. As Cohen jokingly remarked, they used to have intimate moments on the boat near his house. However, there are still some places where they haven’t (yet) engaged in such activities. These include cars on the way to events, department store dressing rooms, and the set of her daytime talk show. Despite their public displays of affection on Instagram, it seems there are still a few spots left unexplored.

Kelly’s preferred pose is the one that showcases her best angle. During the peak of the pandemic, while she was filming her show in NYC and he was shooting Riverdale in Vancouver, they developed some rather absurd sexual routines, as Kelly mentioned on a March 2023 episode of her Let’s Talk Off Camer podcast.

She also got quite inventive. “I grew so concerned about my looks over video calls,” she admitted, “that I started propping up the computer on a ladder so that I could look up at Mark and he wouldn’t have to see the effects of gravity.

It seems that Kelly doesn’t usually intertwine professional and personal relationships. In reference to the recent romantic involvement of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes that led to their departure from ABC’s GMA3, Kelly made a light-hearted comment about herself and her husband staying true to network policies now that he’s working with her on Live.

Back in April, she mentioned during Watch What Happens Live that she and her husband of 28 years have pledged abstinence while they work together. She explained this decision due to ABC’s disapproval of romantic involvements between TV partners, as evidenced by their strict policies against such relationships. “So, we promise,” Kelly said, “there will be no secret rendezvous.

After Joaquin left for college in 2021, Mark and Kelly grew accustomed to living in an empty nest. As they explained to TopMob News in June, they had developed a routine of coming and going as they pleased, often leaving doors unlocked. However, their peaceful lifestyle was disrupted when Lola returned from London, necessitating the return of locks on the house. Joaquin’s summer break brought another interruption, and once again, the couple found themselves locking up.

When they moved to their New York apartment for a while, the lack of privacy led them to get quite inventive. “Believe me,” Kelly joked, “the measures we take are beyond your imagination.

During her final semester at college, Lola often entered her parents’ room without first knocking, which was something they were eager to change. To address this matter humorously, Mark playfully warned their daughter about what she might encounter upon unexpectedly entering their room.

On a recent episode of “Live! With Kelly and Ryan”, Mark jokingly teased Lola by saying, “Watch out Lola Conseulos, ’cause this week’s going to be spooky, isn’t it?” When Kelly asked why this week in particular was supposed to be strange, Mark responded with a smile, “It is now.”

The reason for the NSFW (Not Safe For Work) warning stemmed from Lola’s habit of entering her parents’ room without giving prior notice. During the episode, Mark and Kelly clarified that they had discussed the issue with their daughter.

“I said to Lola, ‘I don’t want you to misunderstand me,'” Mark explained. “I told her, ‘I’m really happy that you’re back home. We missed you so much. You’re the soul of this family, you’re hilarious and amazing. But remember, knock before entering.’
