A verdict has been reached in Lori Vallow Daybell‘s latest case.
In a recent court ruling, the Arizona woman who was earlier convicted for murdering her two kids as part of an alleged apocalyptic plan has been declared guilty of conspiring to commit first-degree murder against her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, in the year 2019.
In the course of my discussions surrounding the trial held in Phoenix, Arizona, I learned that it was alleged by prosecutors that Lori, in a chilling scheme, collaborated with her brother Alex Cox to orchestrate the demise of her former partner. Regarding Alex, who authorities suspect killed Charles in a dispute at Lori’s house in Arizona in July 2019, he passed away due to natural causes approximately four months following Charles’ demise. He was not indicted for the crime.
Lori’s trial for the murder of Charles began in March, which was approximately two years after she received a conviction in Idaho for the 2019 murders of her 7-year-old son, Joshua “JJ” Vallow, and her 16-year-old daughter, Tylee Ryan. Additionally, she was charged with plotting to kill Chad’s previous wife, Tamara “Tammy” Daybell.
51 years old, this individual, together with Chad, faced accusations by the prosecution for instructing her brother to carry out the murders of her children and Tammy due to an excessive preoccupation with apocalyptic religious ideas. Later, she was given a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. In a different trial held in 2024, Chad was found guilty on all counts related to the three murders and sentenced to capital punishment.
Even though she’s been found guilty, Lori persists in asserting her innocence regarding the murders, holding out hope that she will eventually be cleared of all charges.
In an interview with NBC Dateline’s Keith Morrison on March 7th, she mentioned that once she is cleared of any wrongdoing, she might consider participating in Dancing With the Stars, and invited him to join her.
Lori also alleged that the media has blown her involvement in the cases out of proportion.
