Capcom plans to provide a complimentary update for their 2018 version of Onimusha: Warlords, incorporating the latest “Hell” mode from the forthcoming Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny remaster.
The upcoming changes will incorporate six new languages – Korean, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic – along with some minor improvements to functionality.
Here are the details, via the game’s official website:
Added New “Hell” Mode
From the main menu, you now have the option to choose the challenging “Hell” level. This mode is incredibly tough; any enemy attack, regardless of its intensity, will instantly end your life. However, if you’re holding a Talisman, you’ll be able to resurrect immediately at the same spot.
Note: You can earn the “Hell” Honor by completing this mode.
Added New Languages
The following languages are now available as display languages:
- Korean
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Russian
- Polish
- Arabic
- Latin American Spanish
Note: There are no additional voiced languages.
The re-mastered version of “Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny” will be available for purchase on May 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
