Mythical Concept: STARNAUT launches April 28

The roguelike action game known as “STARNAUT” is set to depart from its Early Access phase and officially release on PC through Steam on April 28, adopting the name “Mythical Concept: STARNAUT”, as announced by its developer.

STARNAUT first launched in Early Access on February 14, 2024.

In the initial launch (version 1.0), you’ll find an extensive overhaul with fresh additions such as new storylines, game content, weapons, and levels. These updates also include a narrative that links to the game El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron.

Attention! Humanity Went Extinct! Earth is Doomed!

At some point, you transformed into Starnaut, a lone space explorer embarking on an interstellar voyage. Prior to the apocalypse, humanity sent off the Omega Rockets containing their most valued memories and history. However, these rockets somehow ended up in other universes! Now, it’s Starnaut’s mission today to discover if all of those rockets were returned, as this could potentially bring Earth back to life… or perhaps not!?

Mission #1: Land on the Area Within Multiverse

In a fascinating turn of events, a segment of the multiverse has transformed into a realm under the influence of Starnaut! So far, we’ve identified five distinct realms, yet there’s a strong possibility that more exist! Let’s conquer each and every one of them!

Mission #2: Eliminate those Endless Incoming Enemies

Fight off relentless invaders pouring into our universe from various dimensions! These foes can take on any form – they might seem adorable or intriguing, but don’t let their appearance deceive you! Worried about handling 3D combat? Don’t be! Your weapons will autonomously engage them for you!

Mission #3: Use Your Coins and Upgrade

Defeating adversaries will reward you with coins! These coins earned can be spent on acquiring new weapons or enhancing your space suit at SHOPNAUT!!

Mission #4: Escape With the Omega Rockets

To emerge victorious, you must set off 10 rockets labeled as Omegas, equipped with oxygen tanks to ensure continued progress!

Mission #5: Collect the Data from Earth

As a dedicated player, I find myself engaged in a mission where rogue elements are scampering about, clinging to “Lost Data” from our planet’s past. It’s my duty to deliver justice by landing solid punches on these adversaries and retrieving the lost data!

Mission #Whatever: Just Beam ‘Em as Many as You Can!

Not only do these adversaries crave you as their meal, but they’re also eyeing YOUR SANDWICH MADE OF KNUCKLES!!! There are items like a gacha capsule, trampoline, or even a hot spring waiting for you! You can also purchase a new helmet and improve your spacesuit to boost your fundamental skills before embarking on the level. Everything is at your disposal! Just make good use of them!!

Starnaut, fight solo! Annihilate ’em!

Hint for the Beginners!

Let’s kick things off by defeating some foes before we make our way to the store! Upgrade your weapons and spacesuit to gear up for the approaching adversaries! Antennas are a good starting point until you get the hang of the game! Once you select a weapon, it will have an infinite supply of ammo and will never be damaged! You can uncover extra features in the game using the rewards you earn by completing levels! Oh, and don’t forget to interact with WONDERFUL’s support dialogue, who sits on top of Starnaut’s head!
