At Ruffalo’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in February 2024, Garner brought up his co-stars from what she labeled his “romantic comedy period,” expressing doubts about whether they shared the same appreciation for Mark’s anxiety as I did.

Her particular memory was from when they began putting together the flick’s big dance scene. 

According to Garner, Ruffalo initially seemed to consider quitting after their first run-through of the “Thriller” scene. He explained, “Mark’s initial reaction ranged from surprised that we had to perform this, to restless, to silent and grave, finally ending with, ‘Dude, this isn’t for me.’
