Poor ol’ Days Gone has undoubtedly been overshadowed again.
It’s understandable if you missed it amidst the excitement about Bethesda’s Oblivion remaster and the surreal adventure game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, but today marks the release of the remastered version of Bend Studio’s open world game on the PS5.
It doesn’t help that Deacon St. John’s repurposed debut hasn’t received a single review so far.
The reason for this is that although the game currently has a devoted fanbase, Sony only distributed the code once it became publicly accessible in New Zealand when the release occurred.
In simpler terms, our fearless zombie slayer, Liam Croft, is right now navigating the ruined highway. However, he’ll need some time to understand how this updated version surpasses its PlayStation 4 predecessor and get a feel for the new game modes.
Of course, rest assured that we’ll deliver our decision promptly. However, we thought it would be best to clarify the reason behind the delay in posting our review, as neither us nor any other site have published one currently.
If you already own Days Gone and are considering upgrading to the PS5 remaster, it will only cost you $10. However, if you’re unsure whether this game is worth spending that money on the upgrade, we’ll help you make an informed decision in the upcoming days.
