Good Omens Ending SHOCK: Tennant Speaks Out!

I’m thrilled to finally share some exciting news about Good Omens! As a devoted fan, I can now confirm that the upcoming third season will culminate in a full-length finale, marking David Tennant‘s first open discussion on this captivating series development.

Last year, it became official that the fantasy series would conclude with a single 90-minute final episode. This decision came following Neil Gaiman’s departure from the show after accusations of inappropriate behavior, which he has refuted.

Previously, the principal actors of the show, Tennant and Michael Sheen, haven’t shared many insights about season 3 – but that silence has been broken recently.

In this fresh installment of The Assembly, the renowned actor from Doctor Who found himself facing questions posed by a collective of individuals on the autism spectrum, neurodiverse individuals, or those with learning differences. One of these inquirers probed him regarding the upcoming third season of the program.

During the interview, Cameron posed this question to Tennant: “A person you’ve collaborated with or are friends with has faced severe accusations. Can you share how these allegations have impacted you personally?

When queried for more details on whom Cameron was referring, he appended: “He was involved in Good Omens project which has been halted; can you tell me how this impacted you?

Tennant announced: “We’re planning another run of Good Omens. This time, it will be the finale. We are indeed filming the final episode. However, there have been some minor changes in the cast.

However, it turns out we can share the rest of that tale, which I believe would have been quite challenging to end on a cliffhanger. I’m relieved that issue has been resolved.

Information about the conclusion of season 3 remains scant, yet what’s certain is that it continues from where season 2 ended, with Aziraphale and Crowley parting ways.

It seems like there might be some romantic developments in store for the upcoming season. Last year at the BAFTA TV Awards, Tennant hinted: “As a matter of fact, we’re not sure how many there are planned for series 3. I myself am equally clueless about it, but you understand.

In the last scenes of season 2, Crowley shared a loving kiss with Aziraphale, delighting numerous fans who had long hoped for their relationship to unfold.

The assembly kicks off this coming Saturday, the 26th of April, at 10:05 PM. It will then resume at 10 PM on Sunday, the 27th of April, on ITV1, ITVX, STV, and the STV Player.
